You could keep some length on top with more of a fade on the sides and add some body wave. So I vote neither, but go to a better barber. You have nice hair, and it's being wasted on these great-clips $17 haircuts you're getting.
This is probably the best advice so far. I should probably stop going to great clips.

As someone who has always wanted to make these sorts of things, does the diamond patterning on the bottom mess with the dice at all?
It does a little for d20s and 12s. The embroidery in the middle is the flattest part
