  1. Food costs on this sandwich (for just the food), I'd guess, to be about $1.00 - $1.50, so between 8.3% and 12.4%; maybe a little higher. The rest goes to utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage, sewer), rent, employee wages, insurance, federal taxes, state taxes, city taxes, licensing, materials (such as the paper wrapper), and, assuming a triple net lease, upkeep and improvements of the property. And probably other things I'm forgetting.

  2. Have you seen the graph of where the cost of your coffee goes? It’s 80% rent in most cities.

  3. Does Brother pull this shit? I've never had any drama from any of their printers

  4. No, they just tap into your network and send all your data to the Chinese motherland.

  5. This has become common knowledge now, same goes for Keurig coffee machines. Don't buy their shit, switch to brother if you can.

  6. Yeah brother, the nice Chinese company that definitely isn’t spying on your network once you plug the Ethernet cable in.

  7. She’s having an affair with the cashier at the grocery store

  8. Merit-based pay / getting paid what people think you are worth - what a crazy concept.

  9. I thought hot honey was more a Paulie Gee’s thing ?!

  10. I don't think using hot honey is anybody's "thing" - a ton of pizza places I'm sure have similar pizzas. That's the best part of pizza, put whatever you want on it. :-)

  11. Glad he/she are now your ex. What a disgusting animal

  12. NY Post is obsessed with using the term straphanger.

  13. Price discrimination is more about coupon and discount strategies to offer different customers different pricing based on their ability/willingness to pay. It may be one strategy toward achieving what 9Lives_ is talking about, but it's not the name for the concept 9Lives_ is describing, the bulk of which is probably more just about setting base prices at an optimum level.

  14. Anytime a company sets different pricing for each cohort, individual, or market in an effort to maximize price paid by each it’s called price discrimination, regardless of the method. (MBA with a concentration in pricing strategy. )

  15. Thanks for reiterating the definition of price discrimination (which is not in issue), and the downvote, and for ignoring the point that although price discrimination, though it may be an aspect of price to customer retention ratio optimization, is not a descriptor for the general concept 9Lives_ was mentioning.

  16. What about the direction setting. Is it on undirected or right-left. Try modifying this setting. Also check the range of your device vs the hub. It should be reporting the db level of the signal, you want it under -50 ideally.

  17. You are being nice. I was gonna say this is the dumbest shit I've ever seen.

  18. I just posted this in the anti work sub - getting ready to be banned soon

  19. They are already desalinating, have you driven between Newport and Huntington Beach lately?

  20. This can’t be right for anything that’s heavy

  21. Except the Constitution lays the absolute requirements for Presidential Eligibility.

  22. Yeah I believe the constitution will supersede any disqualification from a lower level law. Might go to the Supreme Court, which would side with Trump.

  23. Will this apply to taxis and Ubers too? So if I come home from jfk to the financial district does the Uber have to pay $23 which would then get passed down to me? Will everybody go to the park and ride right outside the toll limits and then take an express train into the city?

  24. I meant Lincoln/Holland tunnels and GWB. When I was used to drive in from NJ, I remember the toll being $15

  25. Yeah we were trying to decrease the jersey people coming across. 😂 I kid.
