1. That is the reason I buryed my cable in a conduit pipe from the house to the pole. Plus it keeps the moles , Armadillo's, and Squirrels from chewing it. Plus my old senile butt don't run over it with my Bad Boy Mower. I used 1 1/2 ID on mine and about 4 inch deep. I did not glue it just in case. Also you can use regular water pipe but leave out the water! 😉

  2. Did you change countries? Lapse a bill payment ?

  3. No the only thing I can tell is that they didn't take the money out of my account. I am still in the same place to. I can not get them to answer any questions via the account. And of course there is no phone number to call them.

  4. Here’s the email I got. It’s not much more information but it does seem to be related since it was the same day as what your end of service says. Hope you can get in contact

  5. Heck I never even got that...

  6. I downloaded this version and after install and a factory reboot the 5500 kept rebooting without touching it and so I had to remove it. It never kept running long enough to see if it worked. I have also had no success connection to 5G either ever since I bought this thing. I am now back on Firmware: 4.6.4 never to try this again.

  7. What you posted above is not a parabolic antenna. It is a panel antenna and not the same.

  8. The price on these items are almost laughable for what they are. When you have to pay as much for a bracket ad you did for the system then it is time to set back and talk to your head doctor.

  9. I got mine in about 2 weeks. Then another delay via FedX for 24 hours. I just got it setup about 2 hours ago, but speeds are worse than T-Mobile Gateway. If this is what it is all about then I will be returning it within 2 weeks. This is bad really bad. I mean like 3-5 down and 2 up. Not what is advertised. It dang sure isn't broadband, more like dialup.

  10. This is not good information for me because I just ordered it for RV. Because I am sick of T-Mobile home internet. I am also in Florida northeast of Crystal River on the west coast. I had signed up for the service back in 2/8/21 and then found out that the RV service had no waiting time. So this might be throwing good money after bad.

  12. Here is the unit I plan on using because I am about 4 miles from the towers here in central Florida. I do not think a panel would help much.

  13. These antennas are kick butt. It took some time to build a system to hold the 4 antennas because I had to put them on a 60 ft. tower. I didn't use the mounts that came with the antennas. I did use the 4 part cable I ordered. I was going to use a LMR-400 because it has less loss. I go the antennas up and aligned towards the tower that is 3 air miles away. Now I get on a average of 200-250 Mbps Down load and about 12 Mbps upload.

  14. I may be a little late for this thread but I ordered a set of antennas for the Nokia Silver Can. They are expected to be here Monday 3/21/22. They were shipped via UPS or United Parcel Smashers. I they had used FedEx I would have already had them. Here is the link for them.

  15. Hey, Waveform CEO here. Thanks for ordering! And sorry we don't offer FedEx as an option, depending on where you are one service or the other is often better, but if we split our shipping between two carriers we'd lose most of the discounts that we get for volume. Hopefully in the future we can change this!

  17. I have MIMO 4x4 Log Periodic External Antenna on a 30 ft. tower. I went from 1 bar of signal to 4-5 bars. Because I am 3.4 miles from the closest tower I knew that I was going to need something with some serious gain. I followed the Nater Tater guide for the install of the internal connectors. It because of the narrow beam path take a bit of tweaking so take your phone out with you and on the app go to More /Advanced Cellular Metrics and watch the signals for best results. And watch the SINR and get the max there.

  18. Home internet tech support is all outsourced.. if you call 611 state side they will now transfer you regarding any home internet issues

  19. Yes that is correct. And what is with the outsourced that they have to talk so loud and call you Sir before your name? I tell them that I am not English so drop the Sir. I have T-Mobile internet and I can't go 3 days without having to call about some issue with it. And when it is down I loose all of my 5 lines. So all I can say is Come on StarLink.

  20. Well get ready for pre orders to get pushed back even further

  21. After waiting a year I will not wait much longer.

  22. Well it is done. I canceled the order. 13 months is way to long to wait for anything. Last time I waited 13 months was when waiting to leave Vietnam. Now that was worth the wait.

  23. I hope I don't go oss subject to far here.

  24. I am a Ham Radio operator and have been for about 40 years. So I know quite a bit about grounding and antennas, from experience.

  25. Did you use any type of static dissipators on your towers. or just relied on grounding for protection? Just curious about your experience.

  26. No I didn't use any type of static dissipators. I feel that with my elevation here in Florida at 170 ft. above sea level and nothing but 220 ft. of sand below me it wouldn't work anyway. My well is 320 ft. deep and got water at 312 ft. Disconnecting is the best way.

  27. All 4 videos were very informative and a very nice clean install. Worth watching is you are a Starlink person...

  28. Ordered in February last year and still not here. I am starting to hate Starlink and haven't gotten it yet. Piss poor customer service as far as I am concerned. And as long as they have my Deposit I am a customer. No Contact # no way to tell if it is going to be another year. I hope it isn't this bad after I get it.

  29. I live in Citrus County Florida and I ordered a system back in Feb. 2021. I haven't heard a thing about the order. They seem to be popping around me though. I cleared out about 15 trees on my property and installed a 60 ft' tower for the dish if it ever gets here. But was wondering which dish it will be. Is the square flat dish replacing the round? Or do you have a choice about it? I own my own routers for the house. Anyone know these answers?

  30. I ordered mine back in Feb. 2021 and it tell me that,

  31. I have a 4G LTE white one. My battery went dead after a firmware update last month. I did a factory reset and after a day it charged back to 100%. When I called about this problem I was told that the firmware update had a glitch pertaining to the charging of the battery.

  32. I would rather smell cow poop than the nasty air in the cities.

  33. Where I am in Florida we have a lot of graveyards.

  34. I don’t think satellite coverage is the issue, it’s the backend bandwidth capacity that’s slowing things down, they need to have ground stations in place to handle the required bandwidth needed by users.

  35. Hey I can give them the land here. So what's the problem? LOL
