My himi girl hates being bruised as well. Every 4-6months we get her a lion cut to prevent severe mats. And for the eyes maybe try giving her a treat when you do her eyes so she gets used to it ☺️
She did get a lion cut a few months ago after she was rescued—- maybe I’ll just keep doing those! I should have mentioned though that she seems not food motivated at all (super throwing me a curve ball). I was hypothesizing that she can’t smell well enough so doesn’t care about treats. But anyway she’ll eat her kibble but so far hasn’t cared about: any cat treats, tuna, any wet food, salmon, cheese, cooked chicken
Aww she must be picky. My persians are little piglets that will eat anything 😂 And as far as the grooming, my vet does it currently. Good cat groomers can be hard to find. Be careful though, some vets I looked into wanted to give them sedation to groom (persians are a higher risk with anesthesia d/t their flat face and airway).
