  1. It blows my mind how many Americans just don't eat vegetables. I see so many "dinners" posted on Reddit, and they're always brown, brown, and more brown. I almost always have something green with dinner, whether it's broccoli, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, spinach, collard greens, cabbage, bok choy, and so forth (to name a few). It's absurd to me that there is so much delicious variety in this category, yet a huge number of people choose not to take advantage of it.

  2. Here’s the problem with consuming metals like silver regularly.

  3. Here's the problem with Reddit, as someone who has an MD.

  4. Trans women are conservatives, too. Why are you confirming every stereotype swing voters have about us.

  5. Transgenders are insane and should be treated as such. I will NEVER bow to the lunacy that someone with a Y chromosome can be a woman.

  6. If you have a Y chromosome, then you're male. If you don't have a Y chromosome, then you're female. It's that simple.

  7. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. It's pretty good for a lot of the movie, but the end basically ruins the movie.

  8. I would be disgusted if I kissed someone and later discovered that they were transgender. And whether you like it or not, most people in the real world feel the same way.

  9. When businesses close up shop and move away what will these fools do then?🤷

  10. Whine about living in a "food desert" because of "systemic racism."

  11. 13% strikes again. I'm sure mayor Adams will handle it...

  12. I wish people would stop using outdated statistics. They're only 12.4% as of the 2020 census.

  13. Ignoring all the wildness in the comments, the second to the right is a female (presumably officer). I don’t know if this liberation force was part of the front lines or officers in command who later “caught up” to the fronts position, but interesting to see either way women in war in a time period where it was relatively rare.

  14. It's mind boggling that so many people have no understanding of basic grammar. The "second to the right" is very clearly a man crouching with his hand on his knee. The woman is the "second from the right."

  15. It's so easy for people to say "just shoot them" without facing the actual gravity of taking a human life. Those who would do it so casually is someone who has mental issues.

  16. I bought exactly two pre-made spices when I got my smoker before realizing SPG is the way to go and haven’t bought another one

  17. The beauty of this country is that we have the freedom to choose. Personally, I have a fat fetish and literally got fat on purpose. I am not going to lose weight just because some politician thinks I should.

  18. I show my gratitude by trying to convince people around me that the US needs to take care of its veterans much better than they do. Like advocating for better healthcare, especially mental healthcare, better benefits and a better safety net for them. I hate seeing vets end up homeless because of PTSD or disability and if someone serves their country in combat, they shouldn't have to worry about ending up in poverty.

  19. I have no clue how you came to that conclusion from my response.

  20. Because "virtue signaling with identity politics" is the Democrat MO.

  21. I actually kind of agree with this. The best fries are thin cut like Steak 'n Shake. McDonald's has good fries too. But I'm not a big fan of the Five Guys style (wilted, just like OP said), and I never order steak fries. At that point I'd rather just have mashed or baked.

  22. It's funny you mention this because my girlfriend wanted to watch this movie with me a few weeks ago. I ended up falling asleep. The dialogue was incomprehensible.

  23. OP's account is downright disturbing. He is constantly posting pictures and videos of his severely disabled son as a form of advertising for

  24. Every single one of them should literally get life in prison without the possibility of parole.

  25. I live 30 minutes from Philly. I’d recommend going to ishkabibbles if you want a good cheesesteak.

  26. A wild hipster appears. Jim's is more popular than Ishkabibble's for a reason (because it's better).

  27. As a non binary person with a very successful career- I have a hard time identifying with any of these comments. Problematic? Main character? I don’t understand where your assumptions come from. I work hard, deliver, have an education from the top University in Canada. I don’t ask for more attention or better treatment than anyone else. In fact- I ensure there is equity for all backgrounds, religions, pronouns, etc. and make hiring decisions accordingly. Strong teams are diverse.

  28. do you know what specifically was cut and why?

  29. By the time I'd be renting it, Redbox would've already purchased the DVD. At that point me choosing to rent it doesn't give Disney any additional money. This isn't hard to understand.

  30. No they aren't. T1 and T2 are among the best movies of all time. The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth are nowhere near as good. T3 is mediocre but at least somewhat passable. The rest are downright terrible.

  31. The order of the best imo: 5, 4, 2, 1, 3. I dont count 6 because its terrible and is the only bad sequel. None of the other 5 are bad though.

  32. You’re under the impression that if you rent it from Redbox that Disney has not gotten paid for your viewing it?

  33. If you love Guillermo del Toro so much why don’t you marry him?

  34. Maybe to sheltered suburbanites who don't have to deal with them on a daily basis. But ask anyone who lives in Center City Philadelphia, where the bums are widespread, extremely aggressive, and spend most of their time shitting and pissing in public when they aren't passed out from drugs. It significantly impacts quality of life for citizens who actually contribute something to society.

  35. Arrest them, put them in prison, and get them away from law-abiding citizens. Shitting, pissing, and doing drugs in public are all literal crimes. One of the biggest problems in this country is that we don't enforce the law. It's simple.

  36. You can have my vote. I happen to love chicken thighs. They're half the cost of breasts and not nearly as dry

  37. This makes me wonder if you're just a teenager who's never bought groceries before and who just parrots what you read on the Internet because chicken thighs are definitely not "half the cost of breasts."

  38. If you think this is unpopular, then you need to step out of the liberal Reddit echochamber and into the real world. Every single normal person agrees with this opinion.

  39. I have a Honda HR-V and am at this very moment using every inch of space (with the back seats down) on a cross-country road trip. So you're wrong.
