1. Now I don’t know how unpopular this opinion is but in my opinion communism is the greater evil as at least the Fascist/Nazis are very forward about their plans while the commies are much more deceptive in saying their intentions.

  2. I'd also add that nazism is moreso the logical conclusion of communism as it was originally written than it is the philosophical rival. What most people see communism as is this sort of utopian worldview when it's way WAY more messed up than that.

  3. I get what you mean, but we have to consider that the Nazis were stopped, the Communists weren’t. If the Nazis had the opportunity they would’ve killed a lot more people.

  4. I think it's important to consider the ideology behind communist and fascist killings. Fascist murders were the specifically designated genocide of a group based on immutable characteristics. Communist murders are mostly because of the failure of the ideology. While more people are killed under communist regimes, fascism is a more generally dangerous ideology because it specifically sets out to genocide people. They're pretty close though

  5. Not upset, but wrong sub? Libertarians are pro personal freedoms like legal weed and the ability to call yourself whatever you want.

  6. I think it is also true of almost every single sub that if you have any criticism of the sub's, uh, subject, or main group, then you will be banned even if you are of that group/like the idea or whatever.

  7. If I mention the fact I’m not from the US, the tide shifts to the upvotes. Of course I got heavily downvoted for saying I’m not voting for the midterms (even though it was very clear, that I was not American in the comment)
