1. I can’t believe no one has mentioned Don’t call me angel. It may not be her own song but it’s the worst thing her name is attached to

  2. One time I was at guys house (super new into the relationship) and told him Lana was my fav. He started playing don’t call me angel and I died a little LOL

  3. I was expecting it to be more of a collaborative effort like the song she did with Weyes Blood and Zella Day. I love all three artists, but they didn't pair well together. It just felt too forced to me.

  4. I love all her collabs but the majority of them would be better without the features except Summer Bummer imo.

  5. You know I kinda agree. It’s not like the songs are bad I just like her voice on it’s own. I do like LFL with The Weeknd and For Free.

  6. I kinda feel the same thing but I also feel that I disnt give it a proper chance, so I may relisten to it soon

  7. It’s genuinely really hard to find a bad Lana song. There are a few that don’t really resonate with me but they definitely aren’t trash

  8. This is the comment I can get on board with most so far. Also love the song, but listening to it I can see why outside the context of her other music you could think it's a bit cliche

  9. 😂😭😂 I actually have a good memory to that song. Nothing earth shattering but it makes me smile thinking back

  10. It’s not a bad song it’s just I feel like Lana can make cringey cheesy songs sound good but lucky ones is just weird and optimistic. Honestly it’s kinda cringey and doesn’t fit lanas vibe at all.

  11. I don't think she has a single (released) song that can be considered "trash" but Coachella would be miles better if it didn't have that cheap sounding beat

  12. Noooooo.....I love it! Right away it was one of my favorites and I cry almost every time. I know it's not most people's favorite on BB, though. One of my top faves on Chemtrails is Let Me Love You Like a Woman and it's hard to find anyone else that loves that one either. But I love there's that perfect song for everyone on all of Lana's albums. 💙

  13. yes omg and like i think the problem for me is that most of the song is good and then the chorus is sucha let down that it ruins it all

  14. I can't think of any in specific that I dislike but so many songs on 'Blue Bannisters' fell flat for me. I found they just blended together. Not all of them of course, but it wasn't my favourite project of hers.

  15. So sad that a lot of people dislike/don’t understand Blue Banisters. But that album sure has some of her most complex songs to date, so it’s no surprise a lot of people can’t get into it as easily as her other stuff, or understand it at all.

  16. The first time I listened I had to go back and listen again- it was so different, so cool, so weird- completely Lana. I've loved it from that moment on. I adore Let Me Love You Like a Woman as well and I don't hear many people say they enjoy it all that much.

  17. I think it’s a good song when you’re listening to the entire album but I never ever get the urge to just throw it on

  18. I love it more now than I did back then. I think sometimes it's the repetition that people don't like but not the entire song itself.

  19. I’m sorry, I really don’t get the Arcadia hate, I was hooked from the very first listening and that rarely happens. I love how her voice goes during the chorus, even shed tears occasionally.

  20. “My body is a map of LA” 😍😍😍 then I DIP!!! really can’t get into the rest of the song

  21. same here, it would be so much better if it didn't sound like she did it in one take, her voice is so wobbly at times. and the arrangements are so sparse and boring, like there are literally violins and trumpets in the background but they're so quiet!! all you hear is that repetitive piano chord

  22. Biggest lana fan, think all her songs are amazing… apart from one which i find quite boring but maybe i just don’t understand it/ clicked with it and that is…

  23. Probably my least listened to which is change. I don’t hate it but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to it

  24. Please don’t kill me, this is just my opinion… but Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood REALLY flopped for me. Like I really dislike it. Nectar Of the Gods is up there to. I’m sorry

  25. Don't let me be misunderstood is also my top "worst" lana song. I like the way she sings it, but the mixing of the instrumentals, specifically the organ, is just wrong. I like the reference with the organ, but why did they make it so tin-y that it makes ears bleed?

  26. Noooooo😭😭 It's my top fave along with White Dress! Breaking Up Slowly doesn't get enough love either

  27. I could never get into Tomorrow Never Came. If it was just Lana that would be one thing but the feature sounds like a cartoon character and ruins it for me.

  28. Lana sounds beautiful and the lyrics are great, Sean Lennon's voice leaves a lot to be desired but I pretend he's not singing that part because I love the song lol

  29. Don't care too much about "Bel Air", "Yayo", "The other woman", and "Is this happiness?". Fellow Lana stans, I'm ready for you to drag me through the mud over my choices 😭

  30. I can’t even categorise anything she does as pure trash. I can listen to full albums a thousand times and I love it all haha. There are some demo versions I prefer but really it’s all iconic to me

  31. Several from Lust for Life. Chemtrails starts off very strong first two tracks are gems… But that’s it. Have yet to sit down and listen to Blue Banisters again to know specific tracks but I’m sure there’s some bad ones there. To this day haven’t listened to Don’t Call Me Angel but I know for sure without a doubt it’s bad.

  32. It's not always a fair comparison when some artists write their own music and are super prolific, and others buy the rights to songs and release maybe 2 albums a decade.

  33. I’m probably the only one here who thinks it’s Dealer. I’m not a fan of Black Bathing Suit either…

  34. This is THE unpopular opinion…the way she sings, some of the lyrics and her singing off-tempo ⚰️ not for me sorry

  35. I've never cared that much for Coachella or Looking For America. Breaking Up Slowly is also kinda mid

  36. disagree with DTWD but Beautiful is the weakest song on BB, it just feels so vapid in comparison to the other songs. "What if someone had asked Picasso not to be sad?" is such a grating lyric and the repeated "beautiful" of the chorus is like nails on a chalkboard

  37. That’s so interesting, I think this was the song that first made me obsessed with her! I love posts like this to hear y’all’s other POVs

  38. Honestly, I don’t like her cover for maleficent. I think that’s what it was from. I listened to it a TON and just never got as haunted by it as I wanted to be. It was almost too clean maybe?

  39. Don't downvote me but Swan Song 😭 honeymoon is my fave album of hers but I jus can't get into Swan Song! it's not trash tho jus not my thing 🤷‍♂️
