I'm glad it worked for you, but it doesn't work for everyone. I had about a dozen sessions and it all came back and then some. I paid for 10 and they gave me 2 extra because they couldn't believe how much it wasn't working for me. I was a "perfect candidate" too with super dark hair and pale skin.
I completely understand, and I certainly don’t think that it will work for everyone. I just wanted to answer any questions about my experience if I could.
I had some about 3 years ago and it worked ok. Then had about 18 month break because of covid and lockdown and it came back with a vengeance. So I've stopped laser on my face and will begin electrolysis. Patch test next week🤞🏼
If it's not too personal, could you tell us a cost estimate for this at the end of all the sessions? I'm thinking of getting it on my back because I'm super self conscious. Does it hurt a lot?
Over all, as I got multiple areas, I will have spent about $3000. I went I Milan laser, and they have multiple payment plan options, so I’m paying it off month-by-month, little-by-little.
I was going to get it a few months back. They called me morning of and said I couldn’t because a medication I was on was considered to be a chemo drug. It was progesterone.
They do have a list of medications they want you to stop prior to treatment. They also prefer to not do treatment while you’re on your period. I’m sorry you had a bad experience.
It got rid of about 60 percent of the hair for me. And instead of shaving daily, it's only once or twice a week. So I'd say it was worth it. But I'm looking into electrolysis next.
I take micorgyon and metformin 2x a day and laser hair removal worked well with these meds for Pcos for the 1st time I didn’t have to shave in an entire month and I was shocked
Which areas did you get done and did you do anything to balance your hormones? Also would you happen to know which machine they used?
I went to Milan Laser, and they use a Candela GentleMax Pro. I got chin, upper lip, cheeks, and upper neck, along with my chest.
How many sessions did it take for you? I’ve had 9… still not working.
Based on my confirmation emails, I had 11. There’s been no change at all? What does the person administering the procedure say?

Me too!! I’m like almost finished of my treatment, there’s like 2 more left just like one stubborn area on my chin. I’m so happy!

Yay! I’m so happy for you, it worked well on my face too and decreased the hair by 50%. I would love to get it done on my chest next.
