1. My monstera is getting a bit too cluttered and I dont have the resources to repot it yet and want to make it a bit more manageable.

  2. Shouldn’t hurt it but also won’t benefit it either. Each leaf trimmed is one less source of energy, but it’s your plant and do what makes you happy.

  3. It's 100% okay. When I first got mine I didn't have it in enough adequate light and my new leaves were not growing out like they should have been so I ended up chopping a lot of my plant and was only left with like 4 leaves. After about a month I saw a crazyyyy amount of growth. And I mean like 3-4 leaves shooting out at the same time and they are still doing it to this day. It's a cool cycle my plant has because I know exactly which stem is going to grow next. Chopping does promote growth, but usually if the leaves are green you want to keep them as they are still providing energy through photosynthesis.
