1. The bill states that children in younger grades cannot be taught anything about LGBTQ+ content. They can't be taught what it means to be gay, lesbian, trans, ace, etc.. They can't be taught acceptance of those people either.

  2. The student that actually organized this protest, Jack Petocz, was suspended by his school over organizing a peaceful rally, per his Twitter statement. There's currently a Change petition asking to have his suspension rescinded! Please consider signing and supporting Jack!

  3. I really wish people would just stop with all of this and leave other people alone and stay out of their lives and personal business! It’s no one else’s business what someone else’s sexual preferences are and has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not they’re a good person! To be clear I’m talking about stopping all the judgement and hatred towards the LBTGQ+ community that’s so rampant! The fact that there’s even a need for this is sad and I do support it 100% I I just wish people would just leave other people alone and let them live their lives however they choose as long as they’re consenting adults that’s all that matters.

  4. the bill is literally about not teaching or discussing gender identity or orientation to K-3rd graders. It’s not about hate, it’s about appropriate times to discuss these matters with children and allowing parents to have a say in when these topics are introduced to their children.

  5. Personally I haven't seen the state clarify what LGBTQ topics are prohibited and would allow parents to sue. Could you inform me on what would be prohibited topics under it?

  6. I want you to take a look at the United States history, of every bill ever passed, and tell me how many repeat the title verbatim in the content other to state it's own name. I'll wait.
