1. I think the underated story of this IPL is Warner's on feild mentorship of Pant. It's so wholesome watching them chat on field with Pant listening so attentively. There's obviously so much mutual respect there.

  2. More than Livingstone it has been Rabada for Punjab. We always had batting, but Arsh/KG combo at death is game changer for us.

  3. Simarjeet has also looked good in his 2nd and 3rd games. Bowling options are looking strong for next year with Chahar, Theekshana, Mukesh, Simarjeet, Milne, Santner, Pretorius, Bravo, Jadeja and Moeen

  4. Dushmantha Chameera is my pick for best Value buy- He has followed inflate deflate Strategy(Bowling Either Brilliantly or Badly) but he has been a great support role to Avesh and Mohsin when Holder has been mostly meh. He has also consistantly been scoring runs at No.9 Lol

  5. Kuldeep Yadav , a bit biased obviously but in all fairness , I did expect him to do good but not this good , the man is insane!!! I would be lying if I wouldn't put him in here

  6. Livingstone, it was not easy to get him, they kept pushing one of the guys dan Weston who was with pkbs for auction rates livingstone as one of the best t20 batsman in the world.

  7. that motu only got to know about batsmen only , he get them purchased match winners and hard hitters but failed to rope in some good bowlers or experienced one barring rabada

  8. Maybe because of their countries crisis or having moderate presence in last few seasons, Sri lankan players have done pretty well this year. Majority of them have been bargain buys

  9. Moeen is by no means your worst buy I think that's very harsh. Especially with the kind of season he had last year. For the money you retained him at it's a very good buy, just happened to lose form

  10. Dinesh Karthik is right up there, and he’s definitely the “surprise” best buy compared to, say, Warner who everyone knew would perform this well. No one would have put money on DK having the kind of season he did so far, especially given his lacklustre last two years with KKR.
