1. NYC has been on the better side of this for a while. In my hometown in the midwest, I get fucking death stares for walking unmasked in the parking lot. Im so close to snapping at these fools and I would definitely be down for a fight except that I cant get fired. These sheep have no idea what they are in for in the next few years.

  2. NYC is a place where you have to accept the potential for danger while leaving the house, and accept that people who aren't like you exist. Small towns tend to be more authoritarian because people are shielded from the real world.

  3. For what it's worth, my small town in the midwest has its share of wacked out hippies but other than that, nobody cares about masks or vaccines. Pretty decent. I'm thrilled to see stuff like this in big cities though, makes me genuinely love my fellow American people.

  4. I live in Upstate New York but I LOVE visiting NYC. I have a lot of family down there. It’s been 2 years since I’ve been and recently I texted my uncle to say I was considering a visit this fall. He knows I’m not vaccinated and basically told me to save my time and money. I am persona non grata in NYC.
