My family & I are big mudlarkers! We love finding treasure, and we found our oldest bottle yesterday. (Mostly we find a lot of 1900s-1930s ish beer bottles) I assumed this was a medicine bottle because it had ounce measurements on it, but it’s actually a collodion bottle used for early photography. The one I have is the 70s one.
Mine are still pretty young & being allowed to put on water shoes and go into the water is so exciting for them— and they love to collect all the golf balls and shells they can 😂 and find different animals—though they were a little freaked by the crawfish 😂

Nice find. For cleaning it up, soak it in water with some dish soap. Find a bottle brush that will fit and get to scrubbing.
Nice family activity! Wish I could get mine away from their tablets and Iphones.

Right? Mine have no interst to go into the woods and dig in the dirt. What’s wrong with them? Haha
