Try to get Elmyst from the hero shop as soon as you can, he is essential for any mono dark team. Save up those hero tokens. There’s also a beginner offer that appears to be available for Sarona. Not sure if this is a bug because I think this is only meant for new players. But hey, it’s there. She’s a must have. You can buy her for $2.99, or wait for a banner that features her. In the meantime, Damon is incredible if used properly. I wouldn’t bother with Sammy. Try to get whichever weapons give you purple naya stones and give it to one of your heroes.
Its not about being broke dumbass its about having to spend money on aomething that makes no fuckikg sense. Do you have to pay someone to go to bed irl nah
Shat myself on the school bus. I knew I was in trouble soon after I got on the bus because my stomach was hurting like I had diarrhea. Before this fateful event occurred I cleverly warned my friend in the seat next to me what was about to happen. He was a total bro and helped cover for me when the moment came. He offered to let me listen to his music with him to help take my mind off of it, but sadly, it wouldn’t be enough. I moved back into my seat to spare him the direct horror of my imminent demise. I should’ve gone before I got on. I should’ve just asked the driver if we could stop by a gas station. Too late. My stomach felt like it was being ripped apart. I held it in with all my might, but eventually my butthole gave in and the dam burst. Three tantalizing seconds later, the entire bus erupted into sounds of horror and disgust the moment my foul odors snaked into their nostrils. Me and him, nostrils pinched, were like “yeah what the fuck is that!?” No one would ever suspect me if I acted confused in front of everyone else, right? As soon as we finally arrived, I dashed into the boy’s room, cleaned up as best I could, trashed my caked in diarrhea boxers, and rocked the rest of the day commando. To this day, it remains a mystery as to who it was and it was never spoke of again. Many lessons were learned that day. Thank you friend who saved my ass, literally.
I had a best friend I met through a game on Steam. He was a great guy and treated me well, we hung out and played games all the time. Rumors were being spread that he was a pedo and everyone was being a jerk to him, but there’s no way any of that could have been true. I knew that he was a good person. Another good friend of mine tried to recruit me into their clan and not his, calling him a “snake”. Little did I know. I confronted my friend about it, we talked about it, trust was built, and I joined his clan. I defended him through thick and thin even though it wasn’t my obligation to help him with the mess he somehow got himself in. He eventually got banned from a Discord server, but none of us got evidence why. He claimed he was too afraid to see the evidence for himself. It was a mystery that would never be solved, for now. For a while I ghosted him because I didn’t want to deal with his shit anymore, but I came back eventually, not knowing the truth. Over time, he slowly twisted into a person I couldn’t recognize and started acting like a dick, and I no longer looked forward to hanging out with him. Eventually one of my brave friends showed me a .zip file filled with screenshots of him sending gross messages to her and other underage girls. And I knew that was the moment I lost one of my long-time best friends of 7 years. Not only was he a pedo, but he was a depraved deadbeat piece of dog shit and a liar who took advantage of me. I felt violated and made a fool of. I defended someone who turned out to be toxic waste in front of everyone. Needless to say, I cut off every form of contact I had with him without a word. The Discord server we all hung out in was nuked, he was left alone to wallow in shame, and we all mostly went our separate ways.

As a very important side note, if you use LOOT, which you should be, it does a pretty good job of telling you if any of your mods have patches available for other mods that have incompatibility issues that can be resolved and where to get them from, but it won't cover everything.
This goes both ways. If someone is irritating to someone, you can respect that they dislike them... it's that simple. Forcing people to like things isn't empathetic. Respect and tolerance is. And anyways, it's literally just a video game character, not a real person where liking them has way more weight morals wise.
Totally. Respect is my number one rule. And no one’s forcing people to do anything, just giving people the opportunity to think about something differently. It’s all about striking a healthy balance between knowing when to be compassionate and when to keep that shit away. I believe there’s nothing wrong with using your imagination a little and thinking beyond the realm of “just a video-game character.” In fiction, characters are just characters, but you can of course often relate them to yourself or people you know. It’s the same deal here. It goes without saying that creators often put a lot of thought into what they put out. I’m sure Sofia is no exception at all, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the mod author and voice actress thought of some of the things OP mentioned while working on the mod. All that said, for sure, I totally respect whether you like or dislike the Sofia mod. I personally don’t use her because I don’t think she fits the game, but I appreciated OP’s thoughts as I didn’t think of her that way before.
I do creative writing and I am a lore nerd, imagination and going deep with characters is something I am fond of. But certain tropes and weird romanticising of negativity or broken people etc always will rub me the wrong way. There's plenty of ways to write characters who struggle without going full uwu they need you and everyone hates them. That and some people just get too attached to characters or franchises lol.
Tell that to the guy who made Serana Dialogue Add-On. I think they did a great job with the mod but damn is it an uwu waifu cringe fest. But that’s awesome that you’re a deep creative writer, I totally respect that! Sorry if it seemed like I was Insulting your intelligence! (I’m a musician and composer so I know a thing or two about being creative myself.) I agree that if something can be done better, you shouldn’t settle. And if the creators wanted people to feel sorry for Sofia, there’s definitely better ways they could’ve done it. Sofia’s an old mod and like OP said, probably was not meant to have this much thought put into it. I think more than anything, I was just moved by their experience, even if it maybe involved embracing toxic traits. It’s been many years since I ran with the Sofia mod so I may be rusty with my knowledge of her. I since stopped using her because of reasons a lot of you guys brought up in here. I think to be fair though, even for Sofia, I’d venture to say she has more redeeming qualities beyond being a broken soul who just needs love. She just ain’t gonna be everyone’s cup of tea.
Imo it didn’t need to be another “memorable” moment. But I agree a bit of dialogue acknowledging it would’ve been nice. It’s just meant to be the cherry on top of everything that came before, and you get treated with a boss fight immediately to try it out. To me, that’s pretty amazing.
You’re one in millions of others who would heartily disagree with you. Sure, it’s a loss. It would be a loss like if you plucked one strand of hair from your head.
This is subjective, but I wouldn’t mind blocking and parrying to be snappier, and dodging to be a bit more reliable. Perhaps this could be made into a perk tree ability. In Fallen Order, even if you block well before you get hit, it’s still too late because of that small animation delay between not blocking and blocking.
There’s a lift in the ice caves that takes you straight back to the ship area. It’s not that bad. But I guess the part for me is when you get captured by the bounty hunter.
This thread seems really toxic. I think it’s safe to say the vast majority of players will never look at this subreddit or join the conversation in any way. To say that you play the game the right way and someone else doesn’t is toxic any way you slice it. Not all people want a realistic hunting experience, and that’s valid. Some people do and that’s valid too. If you want to have a discussion, have a discussion, but to say no one cares is just asking for a fight in the comments
I think you misunderstood the post. Nobody cares how you play, but people do care if people lobby for changes that are detrimental to the philosophy of being a hunting game.
There’s a lot of valid points here, and I hope EW keeps the new spook system. It shouldn’t be that hard to adapt. But I just can’t help but feel that this community has been pretty harsh towards grinders lately, and there’s more than just “a few”. You’re not wrong when you title it “toxic grinding community”. But the toxicity is not just exclusive to grinders. When you say that nobody cares how you play, that simply isn’t true. But when it comes to grinders complaining, I appreciate how this post clarifies what you actually care about in regards to those types of comments and why. Like you said, this is beyond just catering to people’s play styles, it’s about designing the game around what it’s fundamentally supposed to be about, hunting, and I totally get that.
I think that's what I ended up doing the first time. I think cheesing is lame though so I fight him like the devs intended, and it's actually not that hard once you figure it out.

You have achieved Nirvana.
If you gotta go, you gotta go. Just go.

Rubbing salt all over your hands. Those bead soaps also provide a similar fix.
Cities of The North. ‘Nuff said.

Awww, BD. I envy you a bit. :)
I'm mostly envious over the 2 TB SSD storage 😂😅. BD takes a close second though, for sure.
Being viewed as just an object and inferior.
That’s a pretty sweet livery. But there’s way crazier stuff out there my dude.

Mending sucks and I think the clothes crafting system could be improved and overhauled.
Who said anything about a refund?
No one, but that's kind of my point. It all harkens back to my original comment my friend.
A bigger loss is the company having a customer walk away from their product while letting other people know the product is subpar.
You’re one in millions of others who would heartily disagree with you. Sure, it’s a loss. It would be a loss like if you plucked one strand of hair from your head.
I'd like some huntable birds. I don't know what's indigenous to the given region, but whatever's not a carrion-eater.
Hinterland mentioned in their roadmap they're planning to add ptarmigans to the game.
I’m not trying to go up
OP I’ll give you a hint, going up is what you need to do to find the path to get to that force echo.
It’s so cold my head is frozen to my throat

You can cheese it by hiding in that hallway you open up with force push
I think that's what I ended up doing the first time. I think cheesing is lame though so I fight him like the devs intended, and it's actually not that hard once you figure it out.
