1. haven't used either of them, but I have dealt with

  2. Thanks! Does it just have Velcro tabs around the waist?

  3. Yes. I'd apologize when I got back and my go-to line will always be "I'm not allowed to talk about it."

  4. Throw that python on a fire, and it will taste just like chicken

  5. I'm sure if ths was a law, the beatings would have to be manager approved, so I'm sure done properly it's be fine.

  6. As much as they might need and deserve a good ass-kicking, I disagree. I still think it would be the end of fast food, for the reasons stated.

  7. If you've worked customer service, sometimes that is the only thing people respect.

  8. Again, I disagree. And thinking a beatdown is the only way a rude customer can effectively be dealt with just shows how quickly allowing violence would lead to the outcome I described. I'm sure as a fast food worker it's cathartic to imagine beating the shit out of people who deserve it, but it would quickly turn into beating down anyone who upset you in any way. The guy who orders a fresh burger after you just cleaned the grill too early doesn't deserve the smack down you so clearly want him to get.

  9. Far too straight an arrow. Remember how appalled he was when they used a corpse to get a confession? Even Lisbon was okay with that (his kool aid comment after she justified the tactics was hilarious 🤣 🤣). His reaction to Bosco+team's shooting was just as visceral. It was a personal blow, and his reaction said as much. That being said, it felt like a missed opportunity that he didn't feature more throughout the series

  10. what's awesome about reasoning like this is that the characters are all made up. they're actors. the "it couldn't be him he looked so surprised/hurt/etc." argument just means the actor did his job well. If an actor can fool us a serial killer could.

  11. Mainly because voting has to be both secure, and unquestionably tied to a single individual voter while remaining anonymous to prevent things like employers looking up your voting history and unscrupulous candidates going after non- supporters. The technology to meet those criteria in a completely digital system doesn't exist yet.

  12. Why is this news? The first time I saw it I thought it was just a little "human" interest but it keeps popping up. Incidentally it's just music he plays at Mar-a-lardo. The artists ( or their estates ) haven't endorsed him or even licensed the songs for use at his rallies or events.

  13. She is on high doses of neuroleptics drooling in a mental health ward somewhere, held involuntarily under charges, the state is not going to pay a 'psychic' to visit her and I have no idea how a 'psychic' would be able to help her in any case.

  14. Pretty much what I said. In an asylum, likely beyond help. Maybe remotely plausible under the same questionable TV logic that spawned the original situation, but it would take, at the very least someone as gifted as Jane with a strong personal motivation to help her specifically. It wouldn't be fast or make for good television, and since it wouldn't be entertaining, by TV logic it's impossible. Although I would add that RJ breaking her a like he did also seems impossible, so who knows.

  15. We don't put mentally ill people in asylums any more.

  16. Semantics. The situation is the same, even if the term I chose has poor connotation, compared to "mental health ward"

  17. $1000 for one second? Absolutely. I'll think he's weird as hell, but I'll get over it. Doctors make less doing my physical.

  18. It's real, but neither reliable or universal. My wife and I don't participate in those activities, but we do have some pineapple themed stuff. It's just a theme we like. We also like octopus -themed stuff and vikings. I'm certain that any interested couples know how to find out if you're into "the scene" or just dig pineapples without an excessive amount of embarrassment.

  19. Huge assumption? I would take 10:1 odds Trump loses in November.

  20. While I hope you're right, (or even overestimating) discounting his chances only helps them. Republicans historically have better turnout anyway and giving them a bonus of proving the libs wrong coupled with Democrats feeling that their victory is certain enough that they don't actually have to show up gives him a much better shot than he otherwise deserves. Add in anti-biden protest votes, and all the deck stacking republican election officials are doing across the country to ensure a Trump victory and it starts getting scary.

  21. You need to register as an adult and take YPT. You also need guardianship for your nephew. You wear the Scout uniform as appropriate.

  22. This is the correct answer. If you're not registered with a unit, you don't need to wear any uniform. Once you do register as an adult follow the uniform guidelines. Eagle patch off. Eagle knot on. If you were in OA, either pay dues or remove your lodge flap. You can still wear the arrow device.

  23. your choice. I'm not sentimental. all my stuff got passed on years ago.

  24. I can't say what's right for you, but it sounds like the second pack is performing well, and the first pack is lackluster. So the real question is do you want to take the easy path, or help the pack you're already with grow to meet your vision? It's definitely harder, but as an experienced scouter, you have the capability to make it so there are multiple thriving packs in the area. I encourage you to consider the challenge before jumping ship.

  25. yeah, with no provenance, you couldn't quit your job. nor could you WILDLY change your standard of living. Cut back on your " regular" spending by 10-25% to let your savings grow. Buy lots of stuff with cash, in places you don't usually shop. Hire people to do odd jobs for cash, eventually, once you "saved" enough you could start a laundering friendly business and deposit some. At the very least you could retire early, you just have to keep things within the realm of plausibility.

  26. So when it comes out that Locke (or a follower) did it, will they still be charged?

  27. I've been to his concerts and seen him switch fiddles, but the fiddle wasn't damaged beyond the strings. It's faster to swap instruments than to stop the concert and restring/retune mid show. Wouldn't surprise me if he travels with multiple backups for exactly that reason.

  28. Concern. Without someone as obviously incompetent and corrupt at the helm, I feel there would be a much higher risk of Republicans being successful in November. As glad as I would be to see him gone, l think his careless sabotage of the republican party is helping America. That's not his intent, he's just grifting. But he's exposing the worst elements of the country for what they are, and I'd like to think that we as a country can direct that knowledge to make things better.

  29. Definitely talk to council first. you might even consider making your donation in the the form of a grant (or something similar) so they can take advantage of tax exempt status and your dollar goes further. Not just a cash donation and you saying what it's for. Get them to prepare a legal document, then review and sign it. Just showing up with equipment at the scale you described might cause unforseen issues

  30. I have an RTIC, but not a YETI. It's really nice, but heavy. Would probably be awesome in a boat or some other place it didn't get moved much, but we use our cheaper coolers far more often for camping. For my money, you should upgrade something else instead.
