Totally agree with doctors being pretty casual and indifferent about it, I went to my primary care doctor this past week and she told me I was “clear” but honestly barely looked at me. I have a gyno appointment soon so I’m going to ask that dr to look too as I have a couple of weird spots that have me feeling uncertain.
I’m surprised to see how divided these comments are! That being said it is very understandable for you to feel hurt as you had a different understanding of how your relationship began, but I agree that she had a right to see whoever she wanted before you were exclusive. I understand that other countries may do things differently but if someone is not explicitly asking to be exclusive in the United States it is common to continue to date others. Since you discussed this on only the second date I’d say you two probably didn’t know each other well yet, and from her point of view maybe she didn’t want to stop living her life (dating others) until she A) got to know you better and B) had a solid commitment. You are allowed to feel however you want to about that but as someone who grew up in the United States that sounds fair to me.
But seriously, THIS. TMI but I got a skin infection in that area that wasn’t from sex and I’m convinced I got it from either a) wearing booty shorts in public or b) trying on clothes
