I’m like first of all I end my dash early often and Always get paid properly. Thank you! My advice for math is to study study study! I only studied for a week but I made sure I studied right before the test as well so it would be fresh in my head. There were a lot of word problems and fractions within two sided linear equations on my test so that was hard for me. Definitely make sure you watch a YouTube video about mastering the calculator for the ged test, that should help you get straight to certain answers! I didn’t and I wish I had but I still passed on the first try. I hadn’t done math in 10 years prior to studying so just keep on it and you got this!!
It’s possible you won’t get the test score back until tomorrow but I don’t think it’s due to it being after 5PM. Test scores are usually within 24h but some cases can be 3-5 business days. That’s not common at all though. I had to wait over 3 days for mine & I was going insane so I understand! Try not to think about it too much but I’d just keep refreshing every hour or so. Just think If you don’t get them before you go to sleep tonight, you’re most likely going to wake up & they’ll be there.

I took it without studying today and scored a 171. It really just depends on the person but I would recommend taking the official ged ready practice test so you know what to expect. I scored a 169 on the practice.
Congrats on getting another one of your tests done! Generally results are within an hour or two, almost always within 24 hours. Some cases are up to 5 business days but it’s really rare and generally something is wrong. I’d reach out to support if it passes more than 24 hours since support closes for the weekend. Most likely you’ll get them sometime today though, I know it’s anxious waiting!!

You can do it! I’m 26, I only made it halfway through 10th grade about 10 years ago. And I’m about to take my 4th test on Monday. I took the first 3 within 9 days and passed on the first try with 162, 171, and 172. It’s totally possible and you’ve got it! Just stay focused and study study study. There are great free resources on here, other places online, and on YouTube. I recommend taking the official practice tests so you know what to expect. Being so young i think you’ve got this in the bag!

Those are both still great scores, better than being under passing for sure! With math as long as you know how to work the calculator, at least knowing how to input a few different problems then you’ll do great. If you’ve been watching getsummath on YouTube, I can’t remember the exact video name but it was something like 10 basic GED math questions, that video had basically everything you’d need to know to pass the test. Keep me updated if you happen to remember!

This only happened to me once and I just did it because i knew my hands were clean but in my head I’m thinking there’s no way I should be allowed to do this. They always fill them and put the sticker over top now so I’m assuming someone already complained. The only other issue I had with them was that my customer had a dessert in their order and for some reason the employee didn’t put it in the bag. So I asked her nicely if she could put it in the bag and reseal it and she gave me the dirtiest look but did it for me. I said I’m not allowed to put my hands all up in their bag, that’s unsanitary and I could get in trouble. She didn’t seem to care and said nothing when I said thank you. I can’t believe nobody working at the restaurant Thinks of that, like I’ve been driving my car around touching my steering wheel, radio, other peoples food, opening public doors, touching my phone and you think I can fill a drink or put someone’s food in their bag? That’s cross-contamination buddy, pretty sure it’s in your training.
I’m gonna be completely honest and say they probably don’t have common sense. Because I have also done this in the past without thinking about how the door opens cause I’m slow 😂 I’ve fixed my ways because I saw a post in a doordash group and I was like ohhhhhh. Unfortunately we don’t ALL learn from our mistakes lol
This is exactly why I do earn by time. Everyone in doordash groups and threads says don’t do it, they’re scamming you it’s a waste of time. So I tried earn by order yesterday and it was a huge mistake. 3 orders came to my phone in a row that were $3 or $2.50 total. Absolutely not. I continued to wait and got 3 different $5 orders they were quick so I did them but I was already noticing my base pay would’ve been 50 cents higher had I earned by time. Then a $7.50 that claimed to be “high paying”. There was traffic all the way down the street so it took me way longer than it should have. And the delivery address was 13 minutes away. Customer tipped $5 and base pay was only $2.50. I got $7.50 for what easily could’ve been $13 on time pay. I was so mad I logged off. Their base pay is an absolute joke. It may work for some people where they get a ton of high tipping orders but here I was on for 3 hours and the highest I got was the $7.50. I will never do earn per order again, my time is precious and I’ll be compensated if I have to wait.

Im also more ADD but still have hyperactive tendencies. When i first started meds it was one of the non stimulant type of meds and it was awful and did nothing but give me excruciating stabbing pains (didnt matter if i took it with or without food). Then got put on concerta wich I felt alot of side effects but they weren't horrible. Lost like 10 lbs tho so I got switched to Adderall (technically generic version) and honestly I don't "notice" a difference. like I just function and can do things. it's definitely different than what I was used to but it's not like you're suddenly doing all these things and at the same time you're like OMG this is amazing! it just seems to start happening. Now i've been on meds for over 6 months and i can tell a hhuge difference on days i take them and days I dont. Monday-Thursday i take meds and work and all is fine. Friday-Sunday i don't take meds and i am dead tired and can hardly do anything. I havent ever figured out how to manage the crashes. the last 2-3 months i was on brand name adderall 20xr but because of med shortages i got switched to 20mg IR twice a day so i will be interested to see how that goes. Idk if any of this makes sense or helps i forgot my meds today and am just kinda wasting time at work. so maybe that does show that the meds do make a huge difference idk!
Totally makes sense! I haven’t tried any meds ever for ADHD and never had a stimulant before today. It just caught me off guard because everything I had read said it mellows you out so that you can focus and I am just flowing energy right now, like more than I’ve ever had since I was a kid. So that got me thinking “Do I not have ADHD??” Because of course the Internet says if it makes you energized you probably don’t have it. So that sends me down a rabbit hole in my brain lol
I hadn’t eaten yet so I ate a Turkey wrap right after I took the pill and I’ve been drinking Powerade zero since I woke up this morning. I’m 2 months post op from bariatric surgery so I drink more Powerade than water for the electrolytes, otherwise I get dizzy.

But the one that still lives in my head is when KC is flirting with Jenna and vice versa right in front of Clare (the audacity) and she says “Jenna your butt cracks showing” it’s not a good one at all but for some reason it stuck with me 😂

Conicidently I just saw this film about 2 days ago, and I thought it was brilliant. I loved the way everything was flipped and it shows what we go through with gay bullying and such. I hope that it opens a lot of peoples eyes and minds and maybe become more accepting and understanding.
I hate when people make an argument against gay marriage, say that it destroys the sanctity of marriage and then continue to support divorce, cheating, and even having multiple wives. Hypocrites are everywhere I swear. And also religious people who act as if they own marriage when it has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Some people get married in a church but that's because THEY are religious not because marriage is basically owned by religion. Marriage is just a commitment to someone you love and want to spend the rest of your life with. So why should gay people be excluded from that? I want to get married some day so I hope that this society soon realizes what kind of closed-minded, bigoted hypocrites they are and religious people would stop reciting verses from the bible to justify the things they believe when they themselves don't even fully understand what they are reading.
