For a boat that size because of the tube volume the boat is rated for 8+1 or 2700lbs. With 6-8 adults and a 20hp you go on a scenic booze cruize. Even with 4 bigger guys had a hard time getting on plane.

We use both VRBO and Airbnb. Typically get weekends booked on Airbnb sometimes more last minute like 1-2 weeks prior. With VRBO seems to create longer stays but more boomers and Karens complaining about the cheapest rental on a lake in mountains next to ski hill.
We are 20 minutes one way to the nearest town and I refuse to deal with running out of propane. I have a charcoal grill to avoid problems with tank left open or running out of fuel.
So even if your plan is to just ski a few times a year or once a year i would go to surefoot or a boot fitter that can get you in something comfortable. Have it be the only thing you own and rent skis.
