Leaving out the fact that you were a graphic designer is pretty disingenuous and basically invalidates the entire story. Having a sense of balance and control that is honed by a graphic design background allowed you to appreciate the original work in the first place, then copy the design. It doesn’t matter if it’s a different medium. Also, you know the “language” that people at a gallery speak, much more so than a random person off the street.
Often times, a graphic design curriculum includes fine arts and painting, so it is a little misleading. I’m a total outsider, however I occasionally paint and support myself as a decorative house painter. This post has me thinking. Op probably has a networking advantage as well.
Not a huge fan of the office either but I feel like watching a "funniest bits" complication on YouTube is a poor way to assess a show. Often the humor comes from knowing the characters and throwbacks so without that context yeah, you won't laugh
As a Yngwie fan, and life long guitarist I love your answer because it's not wrong, but it also proves how ahead of his time he was. Everything about this guy was ahead of his time (or behind the time if you consider his wardrobe lol), but creatively he was mostly boring (after his first 2 or 3 albums). This isn't made better by the fact that he was/is an alcoholic. His playing just drones on you. Scale patters over and over are not an acceptable phrasing crutch.

Tucker once was a panelist on a show called the McLaughlin Group. What we are missing for context is the 30-60 seconds of laughter from the rest of the panel after and during Tucker’s dumbass rants.
Just trying to imagine how many Presidents wouldn’t be considered racist by modern standards. Also with the evolution of attitudes towards racism, how racist are modern people by future standards?
I remember Ohio State had that old guy that got drafted I think by the Trailblazers. That’s the last time I remember anything about Ohio State basketball besides LeBron claiming he would have gone there if he had to go to college….looked it up Greg Oden.
