hey eric! # 1 mom jeans fan in arizona here, what's typically the thought process behind selecting your openers for tours? is it usually based on an overall vision for how the band want the show to sound like (in terms of music style and build up to your set) or is it heavily based on artists that you guys want to give a spotlight to? or a mix of both? i've discovered plenty of cool music due to the openers you guys select so thank you! can't wait to see what y'all do next!!

me me me! the people/friends that i know who like them now are all people ive met at shows since i usually go alone! fun mom jeans fact sammy gave me a setlist in 2022 and i caught the guitar pick he threw during my show last month and i was one of the people he interviewed for that show so i met him too🤞🏼🤞🏼coolest ever
from what i heard, besides what everyone has said already, having a family member or friend from home provides a sort of comfort you dont have out there. when youre on survivor, you trust NO ONE. even being with someone you trust wholeheartedly (family/friends) feels like such an emotional relief that i totally understand these reactions. it would be me !!
what i did was wait until there was security/someone who works at the venue setting up thingd at the front of the line, then asked if i'm able to go in to the box office to pick up my tickets. it usually depends on the venue, the rialto has an indoor box office so i had to ask, but other venues have a box office that is outside-ish !
from what i understood about the party bus, it seems like the people who were renting it were happy to let him on but the driver/one in charge of the bus didnt want to let him, so i think thats what he meant by "not friendly." i doubt he would have insisted/kept pushing if the ones renting it didnt want him to join.
yup same! i had a fan account for about 4 years and it was pretty much my whole world. during 2019, a little bit after trench was when i kind of started to drift from them. it wasn't until recently that their music and the connection started to feel just as it once used tos their music means so much to me and i finally snagged a ticket to see them foe the first time and it feels like a full circle moment :3
I thought it was a good ego check for our protagonist. He had to, perhaps for the first time in his culinary career, completely let go. To the point that he was looking at the poorly cut tape on the stored food and the brand of mustard he didn't want. That whole sub arc was meant to illustrate that he lacked the control he thought he had, but also had, finally, a team around him that could do the job without him. It was supposed to be funny, like you said, but it was funny in an ironic sense.
i think the tape and the mustard helped him open his eyes to the fact that he HAD been checked out during the last few weeks before their opening, and i think that realization made him feel like a piece of shit
yup! he doesnt know how to ask for help or step back and admit that he needs some time for himself. it shouldnt be a bad thing for him to let go of some responsibilities of the restaurant, but instead of asking someone else to focus on those little details/tasks, he tries to take it all upon himself.
I tried for what felt forever to get 2 pit tickets and just couldn’t, even after they kept listing and unlisting the pit tickets! Is there going to be another chance to get them at regular price through Ticketmaster or am I cooked and have to buy resale ones?
this was only one of the presales, the other pre sales should still have more GA tickets available, as well as the general sale on April 5th, it'll just be much harder to snag the tickets imp

(unless the ssv or other coworkers already know about the situation) which in that case I would say that you tell the truth when you call out, idk how it looks on the end of an SM or ssv's when you call out for something like that. i almost had to call out for a similar situation for my dog last week, and it sucks that i technically cant use sick time to make time for his appointments and last minute check ups :(
