With his win yesterday, Bubba Wallace became the 10th Cup Series driver to win under two different English monarchs (Elizabeth II and Charles III)
Thank you stranger. Shows the award.

Toledo Blade sounds like a video game weapon
It's the main weapon in the Scott The Woz RPG
I just realized I'm going to have to go from watching Ohtani v Trout for the World Championship to watching Patrick Corbin lead the 2023 Washington Nationals to 63 wins and now I'm a bit disappointed.
Damn you really think the Nats'll get 63? Must be pretty confident!
i both love AND hate this post. great work
Crazy how much one good win propels you. Matt Painter is helping stimulate the economy with all the new coaching jobs he is making.
Matt Painter has two coaching trees: his own assistants getting jobs and coaches who best him in the tournament getting jobs
There’s allot of other drivers out there who have managed to fails upwards and it worked out for them. Derek proved to be talented before the trucks and gets a better shot than he has had currently.
What drivers are you talking about?
I would point out Bubba very clearly. Going from under performing in Roush xfinity and than loosing his ride, to getting a cup ride. Pretty good example of failing upwards.
Bubba also won 5 truck races and finished 8th and 3rd in Truck points in '13 and '14 before getting that Roush ride while Kraus has never won and has finished 11th, 13th, and 11th in the points in his three full seasons against arguably weaker competition than Bubba had in '13 and '14
if i had a nickel for everytime IU lost to miami in march madness this year, i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice
If I had a nickel for every time Purdue lost to a 13 seed or higher within the last 3 years, I’d have 3 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened 3 times.
c'mon man, you know it's not that weird
no better time to shit talk than in the handshake line after losing by 20. apparently morris got
randy arozarena in tournament play is the greatest player of all time
which mlb exec is most likely to kidnap sasaki from the team hotel to make sure he doesn't go back to japan
Why they will: all of the rookies we debuted last year take another step forward, Andres and Amed continue their improvement, JRam stays healthy the whole year, Bieber signs an extension, Espino debuts and immediately makes an impact, Zunino regains his 2021 form, Josh Bell is worth the price paid, Josh Naylor makes opposing pitchers his sons again, and Bo Naylor wins AL Rookie of the Year
MLB itself is also pumping a lot of money into the game it looks like, I see ads for it everywhere I go, even minor league games I've only caught an inning or two of. Didn't see that in 2019 or 2020
MLB does technically publish the Xbox and Switch versions so I certainly hope so
The State of Indiana in March:
welp i have no leverage to chirp so i'll just say it could always be worse, hoosiers!

IU fans earned the right to be smug about this year when they swept us. Now they've earned the right to be smug for eternity. Fun!
