1. The funniest part to me was the clearly coordinated talking points ("it takes a crane to open the hood", "look at the size of this sideview mirror") but no coordination on who was to deliver them (they both did).

  2. We saw this in NYC last year in one of the parks. There was an AR filter with it as well. It was super cool!

  3. Love these butthurt comments. Whah no monuments to white people allowed!

  4. If you'd consider being more informed on the matter, I'd recommend watching Lakota Nation vs. United States documentary, if you can find it.

  5. Not a helpful comment, but we've got similar tuner hardware! I've also got a preamp (2000F)/amp (3200F). Love the Sony hardware.

  6. Their English really isn't that natural, when you read it with some suspicion.

  7. Did you see the story about the mom that wrapped her baby in a towel and beat it to death with a hammer? She claims she did it because Texas doesn’t allow abortions. No ma’am. You did it because you are a sick evil soulless psychopath. Every time I hear stories like this it shreds my heart and I never forget. I would have loved to have that baby. So many people want a baby! What happened to dropping the baby off anonymously at a fire station? The devil is rampant today.

  8. Do you have any source for this? I've googled and I found no news articles that fit your description of events.

  9. I ran a cipher puzzle in a game recently. My group was super into it, but they are also mostly software engineers, so that makes sense. I think I also gave them a lot of input based on their observations and checks in-game, to avoid it being a slog.

  10. I think the rational position isn't to say "I have no idea if god exists" but instead to say "I have seen no credible evidence to indicate any god exists." There could be an invisible dragon in your garage, but it really doesn't make sense to say "I have no idea if there is an invisible dragon in my garage."

  11. The evidence in your statement would have to be evidence that we understand. So perhaps there is plenty of evidence, just none that we understand. This, claiming the lack of comprehensible evidence disproves the existence of a God is narrowing the definition of God to something comprehensible.

  12. Is anyone at the airport? Any updates on this? My UA flight is at 6:20 pm and although the status is 'on time', I started getting worried.

  13. I'm sitting in Terminal E, and flights are slowly going out. Sounds like there are limited deicing pads. From what I can tell, United is not completely grounded, just severely delayed.

  14. I'd be interested to hear more about your conclusion. Every country has been built this way, the US isn't alone, and so ....

  15. I mentioned a Midland-Bakersfield comparison earlier. I've also heard that Houston is the Los Angeles of Texas.

  16. The sprawl is similar, but there is still quite a bit of open land between developments in Houston area. It's still odd to me to drive so far, whereas in LA metro you don't travel geographically that far to get from city to city.

  17. The conductor— what it is today— is equivalently the CEO of the Orchestra-orgs-nation. They kinda think they are in charge— take all the credit — but sorta are not yet still stay stationed? It’s crazy close

  18. Yet no one in the orchestra is in the same position to hear what the conductor does.

  19. I like this justification a lot. If anything, I might ask for an athletics check, as perhaps not every build will have the upper body strength to lower themselves down safely.

  20. I enjoy rolling for stats for one-shots, as (for me) they are more about doing something I wouldn't normally try, and the variability makes for unexpected gameplay.

  21. I... Im still not over the music choice lol

  22. Looking through OP's post history, I'm having trouble determining if there's some intent or if it's just a bot. A few posts just recently that highlight some sort of apparent poor conditions in US cities.

  23. I have no idea what this guy is so angry about

  24. The vote in committee was not a surprise, this is not an indication of how anyone will vote on the floor, and we fully expect the voucher to be stripped from the bill or the bill to be voted down outright when it reaches the floor next week. It’s also subject to multiple points of order.

  25. I'm really curious where your conviction comes from! I really hope you're right. Are you working somewhere on the floor?

  26. I work for an educator association, and I’m in the building talking and working with these people every day.

  27. Well the stubbornness alone is pretty damn frustrating. He'll just hold it all hostage, I guess! Thank you for sharing your insight :)

  28. Same with California. One of my wife’s friend moved to Texas in Feb 2016 from California. In October, she called my wife asking when she will receive her booklet about “What is on the ballot?”

  29. Having done the same move myself, I miss that. But the resources do exist without much searching (such as the LWV guide).

  30. Many other counties have eliminated the treasurer in Texas. Seems to work ok. Tarrant, Bee, Bexar, Collin, Andrews, El Paso, Gregg, Fayette, and Nueces all eliminated their treasurer I believe over 20 years ago.

  31. Was there an amendment each time for Texas voters to allow this in each county? Seems like a lot of state overhead when every amendment is a one-off.

  32. It occurred to me lol, but I also didn't want to be wrong

  33. I hate to break it to ya..

  34. If only git had a feature where you could ignore files without deleting them, you could call the config files for it ".gitignore" or something...

  35. How did you plan the whole thing out? Was it broken into any number of adventures? How far out in the future would you plan? Was it at all related to the original one shot?

  36. I definitely planned by story arc. We had four overall and they weren't all directly related to the one shot but the final boss has elements of the one shot woven in.

  37. Thanks! I'm currently running LMOP as a first time DM to get my feet wet. I'm definitely working my own interpretation of things, but trying not to homebrew just yet so I can judge proper balance. So far, I've stayed ahead of things except for whatever I can't anticipate, but that's been fun!

  38. Definitely looks like a piece that will impress everyone at the table!

  39. Hi everyone, please keep this comment upvoted to the top so everyone can have a chance to win!

  40. Tf is this stupid caption title? "Haha young people are stupid"
