Seriously here, no, you're in every right to feel like this, and no it is exactly the same as when a man goes to a women strip club, and a woman goes to a men strip club. He's being unreasonable and insensitive by dismissing your feelings. Saying 'goodbyes' to your friends can be done in different ways that make people's partners not feel crap. If he is acting like this and freaking out after you mention doing the EXACT SAME THING? No, it looks like he wants to have more fun with other people while wanting you to stay 100% completely committed to him. It's unreasonable, unfair and insensitive from him to dismiss you feeling uncomfortable with your partner having any type of somewhat intimate acts with others. And if he's open about lying to you/ talking about going without telling you, it's a huge red flag and you should in no means stay with this person, since they have admitted that they will go against your comfort and lie to you.
