It's really Magisk's absence. Mezii does not feel close to comfortable in key spots where he is left to hold solo - his job is to a) kill one and survive, b) survive. Worst thing he can do: die to a solo entry play. Which is what happens time and time again across multiple maps.
I'm sad, but not actually too disappointed by this result. They haven't played a LAN official yet so I was prepared for them to be destroyed, and putting up a decent fight is... enough I guess. But oh god it sure is Astralis next, huh?
It was mentioned in the episode discussion, but I think picking Jason early to satiate his pride was probably why Ryan chose him so early - we've seen the last picks for brigades get salty or annoyed over it, after all. Picking Sammi first was something he could probably accept, and then being the next most important person in Ryan's brigade would boost his ego.
On the plus side, I'm gonna have a brand-new post to sort by most controversial heehoo. <3 I'm honestly going to watch it just to see if they can at least film some creative kills.

Maybe it was a good thing ENCE lost to Falcons... there might have been riots if Spirit slaughtered them in front of the Polish crowd.

So far this year, Vitality have lost to Astralis (danes), Heroic (danish majority) and ENCE (gla1ve).
