I like the combo but not for this pattern. Even a darker lace with a lighter main would have the same effect of the contrast masking the cable pattern. I feel like for most cable patterns they look best when the yarns are similar colors to help the cable design stand out.
Thank you! I’ve decided to do a few more swatches. One with just the pink (which I’m realizing is slightly darker and more muted than what shows in the pic), and I’ve also ordered another lace weight that’s darker, but I think will be a lot closer to the main yarn.
You might want to look at your swatch from further away to get a better idea of how it will look as a finished cardigan. No one is going to see it as up close as you will while you’re working on it. I took off my glasses and held my phone far away and I could only see the cables at that point lol
Why is there no men in the shelter??? It’s a genuine question is there men in the shelter but its called that because historically reasons or what I don’t see the point in not allowing people for there gender

Lol right?? I was really surprised, but more surprised by the Aussie. The only one of my dogs who doesn't have some pit bull (mostly boxer and Rottweiler with a little Boston terrier for good measure) looks more like a pit bull than any of the others.

Try contacting Operation Kindness. They often take animals from shelters that are overflowing. (Not sure what their intake process is though.)

Yeah, I get surprised when I DON’T see any pit. Even my 15lb Chihuahua mix has a little pit in him. 😂
I haven’t found a traditional dog toy that my rescue chi is interested in yet.
