1. Like thinking he was dead and then revealing he was alive? That happens in Code Veronica, not 5.

  2. It’s weird to think that, him bringing one of the two faces of the series, he was the last of the repeat protagonists to get a second game.

  3. Idk if I'm following, CV was his second game, and RE4 was Leon's first "repeat" which game out later. So Chris got his second game only a year after Jill did with RE3.

  4. A Bioware-style RPG where you explore new worlds and advance in rank until you're captain of your own ship would be my dream Star Trek game.

  5. I'm just playing the Mass Effect trilogy for the first time, and it is very Trek-like. Especially as you captain a Starship, you can chat with your crew.

  6. I'm Commander Riker, and this is the best trombone in Ten Forward.

  7. Lol just did that in ME2, gave my endorsement to every shop. Just waiting for that to come back and bite me when they realize I said every store is the best store on the citadel!

  8. Yup, I have an outpost on Reach and also Vulcan in Starfield!

  9. Really really liked it. Set a good foundation and was very much a prologue. Now they just need to properly follow up the story and continue the threads.

  10. Oh man so much this. This game has such fun movement and a great sandbox it just needed some meat on them bones and a better netcode at launch. The campaign could have used a little work too, but it was serviceable how it launched. I really hope they learned something from Infinite, because we have a great baseline to build from.

  11. That's my biggest fear for the next game. Every Halo has tried to rebuild everything from scratch. I didn't like it when Halo 5 launched without BTB, Forge, etc. so I was surprised when Infinite was even more barebones.

  12. Their is nothing about infinite that's fantastic except forge , few campaign assets , sound design

  13. Music, art style, combat animations for all Banished enemies, more audio/visual feedback from weapons (which was brought over from Halo 5), Forge, Forgeable AI, Nav meshing/AI Pathing on all maps, overall sandbox, equipment, etc

  14. If a match is butchered, and I'm spending what time I have trying to have fun, I'm not gonna wanna continue getting butchered.

  15. All it does is ruin the game for everyone left in it. Sometimes you get destroyed, sometimes you absolutely dominate. It's just part of the game.

  16. Sometimes the game matches you with teammates who contribute absolutely nothing to your team so might as well leave and hope for better matches

  17. And you wouldn't be able to figure that out in the first minute of a match. These people quit because they started losing right away.

  18. I've read every Halo book, and I finished it within days of its release. I would say it is my new favorite book out of all of them. Loved every bit of it.

  19. Switching seats in a vehicle is one of the best QOL additions. I so desperately wish more players in Infinite knew this!

  20. Hog people in infite just seem so incredibly stupid... had the flag once and instead of the gunner jumping in the driver seat to drive us away he just sat there waiting for a driver (at the enemy base....)

  21. Oh dude I had my mic on, and was driving a fully loaded hog in a game of CTF.

  22. That's the reason I rage-quitted several BTB matches last week and eventually got so angry that just deleted the game for now. I'm a bit above average player and BTB for me was always a more casual experience so I could play and have fun. But last week it was constantly putting me into impossible games where I felt like was playing in the World Series. I believe it's not an entire team playing on a fire team but usually even having 4 players can make a big difference.

  23. Best thing to do in those situations is just mic up and help coordinate your team. I joined a match in progress yesterday of Total Control, down 2-0. Threw the mic on, I was the only one talking, and just give helpful callouts and pass knowledge. We ended up scoring 3 points and won the game, it was fantastic.

  24. I wouldn't stress about it, depending on the version you're playing he'll either unlock with 2 or 4 A ranks.

  25. If you enjoy shooting zombies then absolutely

  26. Yes Claire a S.T.A.R.S. member 🗿

  27. Also we know this was pre-2001...when exactly did Jill or Claire save the world???

  28. Sure, that can be argued, I think there would be plenty more times to stop Alexia if Claire/Chris had failed though.

  29. Given their lack of first party releases the last couple years I wouldn't be surprised if they have their teams focused on games for their next console.

  30. Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Wonder? Two huge and acclaimed first party games. How is that "anemic"?

  31. For me I just don’t have as much fun on the maps because I genuinely don’t think they work that well in infinite, especially with land grab being the game mode 80% of the time.

  32. Damn Harvest is one of my favorites from H4, I have played over 30 games and I have only gotten Perdition once and I have never gotten Harvest. It's maddening.

  33. Oh okay. So it's just a "don't think too hard" kinda thing? I tend to deep dive into stories and RE has been my latest hyper fixation 😂

  34. Oh I don't know how many RE games you've played but "don't think too hard" is a common theme. RE has some truly ridiculous plots/retcons when you deep dive into it

  35. It's a really chill game. Some really baffling stuff and minor things that I wish were fixed so it could live up to its potential, but overall I think it's a fun time.

  36. This was an impossibility OP for one major reason. 343i blamed the fails of Halo's Reach and ODST on the story not focusing on MC back in the day. They drove themself into the corner and seem upset that they're here now.

  37. I would also say some people learned the wrong lesson from Halo 5 as well.

  38. One of the best "chill" games ever in my opinion. Along with FFXV (totally different genre).

  39. The way people interpret Halo 4 is next level bad, though, because that cutscene is one of the most explicit, expository bits of information we get in the games on any subject, and yet people act like it doesn't exist. All of the criticisms of Halo 4 requiring players to read the books, the MC being the chosen one, the Didact having no motive, etc. are waylaid by that one cutscene which explains everything. But somehow everyone forgets it exists.

  40. I do disagree with one thing you said tho. The books are absolutely required to understand Bungie’s halo games, because they never bother to actually explain why the covenant is at war with humanity. This is where the criticism of halo 4 really starts to enter absurd territory for me. Halo 4 has an entire cutscene dedicated solely to explaining every pertinent question someone could have about the main villain for the purposes of that game’s plot. Halo’s 1-3, tho? Not once do they ever actually explain why the covenant wants us all dead.

  41. Because, time and time again, it's been said ad nauseum: Fallout was made to be a Fallout show, while Halo was somebody's IP that was declined and, instead, they slapped the IP name on it to get it approved.

  42. Don't need a source, watch the show and it follows the same tropes before. This is in addition to combining comments made about the director and his freedom with the IP, his various cancellations and show pick ups, being kicked off S1, as well as it being a 'Silver' timeline. As a Game Informer article put it: 'So instead we get generic sci-fi show which isn't very good and relies on the visuals and name recognition of an established IP to attract interest.'
