1. another 1 year of waiting to see FSR 3.1 implemented into Cyberpunk 2077....

  2. Cyberpunk sucks anyways. It has to be the world open world city of any game I’ve ever played. GTA 3 was better.

  3. Don’t forget the DLC was supposed to come out in February. The bar is so unbelievably low with this game

  4. How exactly does payment work on PC? I bought the complete edition but I never had to get a subscription. Do I just have to manually pay it every month?

  5. Having to pay for Gamepass and this FFXIV Coins stuff really makes Xbox the worst version to play.

  6. That’s a major perk that I like about pc, as you don’t have another subscription you have to pay just to use the platform. It would be like steam requiring you pay a sub to access their games, I’d be furious.

  7. Yes that and playing the game max settings at 165 FPS.

  8. I just got the complete addition on steam for $24!! 😃

  9. To make you even more jealous I also have a locked frame-rate at 165 FPS at max settings in 3440x1440p! The game looks incredible! 😝

  10. Anyone can explain for what all the AI cores in 7900 XTX can be used for? I never found a software or anything to look for them, or use em?

  11. It seems as though AMD is going to use them for upscaling kind of like DLSS as there’s an AMD executive talking about it as what’s going to be big for 2024.

  12. Let’s be honest. Hating this game has taken on a life of its own. It’s pretty common to read a steam review where someone who has 200+ hours into the game giving it a thumbs down while basically writing an essay as to why. After 200+ hours the person started to notice reused assets such as dungeons so therefore the game sucks!

  13. There’s just a bunch of people that are anti-bethesic which is the irrational hate of games made by Bethesda.

  14. What monitor you got? I would spend most on monitor if that budget includes monitor too

  15. I agree too. The Alienware 3440-1440p QD-OLED is what got and I love it.

  16. I'm looking for this, is this the curved one?

  17. Yes it’s curved. It’s a great monitor. The best thing about it think is it a Quantum Dot Organic Light-Emitting Diode monitor! So it has the bright colors of a QD monitor combined with the deep blacks of an OLED.

  18. Better: I liked the option of buying a cart so you can drop all the loot you can't carry anymore. Extremely useful for dungeons, I don't know why it was removed.

  19. When it first game out it didn’t feel repetitive because it was so different than everything else but in 2024 it definitely needs mods to be good. With that said it has some really good ones with unity.

  20. Daggerfall unity is pretty awesome. I spent hours customizing my game with mobs and it’s pretty awesome!

  21. It’s a pretty trendy game to hate which I’m sure has an effect on people’s mindset when they are criticizing it. I personally can’t understand how toxic people are when talking about this game but in gaming in general. Clickbait YouTubers and streams have destroyed gaming culture. If there wasn’t that influence on opinions I’m sure it wouldn’t be hated like it is.

  22. I bought it on steam after starting on gamepass. I had to start over which is okay. I made my character look a lot more like myself because I wasn’t rushing to play and I have made better choices on what to spend my points on. I am currently NG+2!

  23. I recently bought the game and had to start after maxing out my starborn powers on my previous game I have to say. I am in NG+2 at the moment and dreading that grind again!

  24. It has a ton of planets like no man’s sky but that’s about where the similarities stop. Starfield is more realistic. Not every planet has life and the ones that do have several different biomes. You cannot walk all the way around the planet in Starfield. The planets are made up of Skyrim sized zones. The zones take up every inch of the planet that isn’t covered in water so you can land anywhere you want but each zone is independent of the next so you have to land in each in order to explore them. Spaceships are much bigger and realistic in Starfield as well. Give it a try. If you like space games then you’ll probably dig it.

  25. Have you tried going through the unity? I’ve never seen that before.

  26. Better than starfield in every metric that’s for sure

  27. They aren’t even the same kind of game. One is turned based combat in a static world sort of like a tabletop game while the other is a science fiction action RPG shooter full of over 1000 dynamic planet. If you aren into turn based RPG but love space games then obviously one’s going to be way better than the other. Personally I couldn’t get into BG3. Not only do I enjoy realistic future science fiction settings but also D&D lore is kind of boring to me. Elder Scrolls is much more interesting. D&D is just your everyday typical fantasy setting.

  28. What does PS even stand for?

  29. Personally I think BG3 is overrated but to each their own. I got about 20 hours in and just got bored with all the talking. I don’t want to play a game where I’m talking to NPCs for hundreds of hours.

  30. Yes and I believe it will be even more so than cyberpunk or no man’s sky because not only is the developer releasing content but there’s also going to be a ton of community created mods that add it as well. I will admit though I figure they would at least have the modding tools out by now and possibly the DLC.

  31. Yes you're completely right, I have 3 rigs, and the 7900 XTX with AFMF in terms of pure fps outperforms my 4090, and there's zero screen tearing

  32. Yes I’ve been having a good experience with it as well. I’m not sure what to make of the people that are saying the opposite but it would be interesting to find out what makes or breaks this feature. I wonder if it depends on the monitor you use?

  33. I’m quite happy with my Ally. I thought the claws APU wouldn’t have a gpu as powerful as the 780m.

  34. It's a 4070s with less features and less efficiency and worse RT performance, but you save $50.

  35. And AFMF so in reality it will run every dx11 and dx12 game with nearly twice the frame rate as the benchmark. I love seeing critics try to pour cold water on this feature as well but everyone using it can see how good it is. It really makes me question the legitimacy of these people.

  36. Have you actually used AFMF? Like actually tried to play a game with it and not just turned it on for 5 minutes? It's ass, there's such a huge input latency even if you already have a high frame rate and the effect turns off whenever anything changes on screen resulting in the worlds least stable frame rate.

  37. Yea I use it all the time. In just about every game I can turn it on where I’m not already at 120 fps because there’s no point if it’s already that high. The frames are fine and I don’t notice any latency problems. It’s smooth and it looks great. There’s always been a problem using software to try to measure its stability since it was in beta.

  38. I wonder how good the game is. Played the first one throughout its development and was great when fully done. Went to sons when it came out and man. It was not good. Is it finally at the point where its like the first one? Just dont wanna put time into it for a letdown again.

  39. At launch it just didn’t have a lot of content. I never played the first one but sons of the forest is a lot of fun now.

  40. It’s a lot more fun now. I played it a lot this weekend

  41. I’m getting 200+ fps using AFMF with my 7900xt and a 5800x3d. It looks good.

  42. I'd say the opposite is true. I get 170+ FPS in UE 5 games, this game I struggle to get over 100, sometimes dipping into the 40's-50's with a 4070 super and core i9 9900k

  43. What unreal 5 games do you get 170+ fps in?

  44. If it’s anything like AFMF then it’s definitely a must have feature but of course with AFMF you can turn off upscaling.

  45. I feel you on it helping with the hardest time of your life. I just started playing it again after going to NG+ 10 but I bought it on steam after playing it on gamepass because the steam can be modded so I had to start over. It was awesome though because instead of rushing through my character creation so I could play the game I was able to take my time and make him look how I want, Like myself! Also I can build my character now that I understand the game and learn from my mistakes. I got 8 hours in if now and I’ve already upgraded my ship and I am focused on finishing the main story, then new game plus and then I’ll do the regular quest.

  46. Well you probably shouldn’t have said that on here. This sub is full of toxic people.

  47. Not sure if you've noticed, but Bethesda's reputation is in the toilet after FO76 and Starfield.

  48. Honestly I think gamers are just toxic right now. To much YouTube.

  49. Without extra sodium, for me, it's totally the opposite. I stopped playing Starfield when I read in December about the plans of Bethesda Studios to improve the game this year, so I decided to wait. Meanwhile, I have several games to finish, including CP2077. With Phantom Liberty, I decided to start all over again, and after 600 hours, CP feels and looks better than Starfield. There is no comparison. From mechanics to graphics, to the look and feel of the city and details in every corner. I just imagine that with several biomes and planets, Starfield is far from that, sadly.

  50. I’ve never been able to finish cyberpunk personally. I always get bored. On my opinion the story is okay but not great and not what I was hoping for in this setting. It feels like missed opportunity in comparison to something like blade runner. The city itself isn’t dynamic which takes away the immersion for me. It’s also not very interesting to explore. I haven’t tried the new expansion and probably won’t until it’s really cheap. After playing it tonight though it doesn’t even have that allure of amazing graphics anymore.

  51. I don't know or care about the technicalities involved in the graphics but to me Starfield feels very sterile compared to Cyberpunk. That said, I have way more time into Starfield but that's probably because I'm a lazy gamer.

  52. I always got bored in cyberpunk. I still haven’t beaten it. It feels more like action game.
