Maybe it's just harder to notice because of the distance, but he doesn't look unhealthy in the way some body-builders do. I might not be trained enough to judge it, but he seems more well-balanced and he doesn't quite have that "my skin is about to rip open" look that some people develop.
Also the fact that he's able to move so fluidly and quickly. More of a dancer than one of those muscle-bound guys who can only move in the necessary flexing positions maybe? Like this guy looks like he could do just about any physical activity pretty well even with the big muscles in the way.
I've never came close to the level of this guy but I knew quite a few dudes that bodybuilt competitively over the years. The muscle bound thing is kind of a myth for the most part, it's counteractive to the proper training these guys need. To hit a muscle the best it needs to have full range of motion especially for the smaller muscle groups that sort of fill in the physique. Not saying they're gymnasts by any means but most aren't really hindered by the size all that much in terms of flexibility. Cardio is a different matter though, whether it's fat or muscle it needs blood and your heart can't tell the difference
Thanks for the deeper explanation. I’ve only ever known one of these guys and he was VERY much muscle bound and would crack jokes about it all the time. Helping him get stuff off the top shelf at his apartment made me laugh so hard one time. I’m 6’0” he is 6’1” hahaha
