1. I’m about to deal with the same problem. I’m on my way to Morocco now and have no option to leave my drone anywhere else so I must bring to Morocco with me. How safe is it to declare the drone. Will I for sure get it back on my way out of Morocco?

  2. You'll get it back, we ran into this in Feb when we went. You've just gotta pay the fine in cash when you come back. Oh and hold onto the paper they give you.

  3. This is a very specific question. I honestly couldn’t tell you.

  4. GOOD! More trains in this country can only improve things.

  5. Why don't you just point out to them that the purpose was to prevent exactly what's happening now.

  6. Because most of the time, they are referring to mass shootings.

  7. Wife and I are now planning our 4th trip back to South Africa.

  8. I do 4k on my MacBook Pro with 16gb of ram just fine. Looking back, I should have got more to future proof my setup.

  9. Ok I’ve been several times, for a total of six months, and I honestly don’t think it’s worth it. It’s like so many other small cities, but very colonizing-y, racist, and violent. Everyone I know, locals, has been mugged - many times. My black friend was kicked out of the bar we were in “for being too loud” while our group was getting drinks and he was alone at the table. The police raided a party we went to, and arrested innocent people. The police also surrounded me on the beach “to protect me from the homeless” and kicked a homeless man sleeping off the bench near me. It’s a really really fucked up place, that, like so many places, is enjoyable if you have money.

  10. Jesus it’s insane how different our experiences are in Cape Town!

  11. Bouncers also wouldn’t let me leave restaurants until my Uber arrived. Like I literally would try and walk out and they’d be like “where do you think you’re going?? We will meet the driver, and escort you out.”

  12. I have never had this experience, where were you dining??

  13. Wouldn’t claim to be a professional by any means, but wife and I have been doing it successfully for the past two years.

  14. I have a salary job for one employer and I still travel around full time. There is literally zero research to back your claims.

  15. How did you find this guy? And how can I avoid finding “artists” like him?

  16. Do your research is all I can say. To find him I went on Facebook and google and found someone close to where I grew up. Private messaged the studio and asked for a walk in on the day. This was my own fault; it was a split decision to get it done before I flew out in a few days. Now when I'm trying to find someone I start at the bad reviews and work my way through them lol

  17. Loved seeing this when we were in Sofia, but I immediately knew Americans would ruin these so fast.

  18. in the US, make them electric haha. people would avoid them like the plague.

  19. Love the system, as much as everyone complains that trains are late.

  20. I've been here 3x now, and still haven't been super compelled to go see Robben island. Everything else on here seems pretty decent, but I'd swap Llandudno and Kalk bay days.

  21. Yes, I have to admit that I'm not too excited about going to Robben Island either, but my girlfriend just finished reading 'Long Walk To Freedom' (I'm starting to read it), and she's very interested in visiting the prison.

  22. If you want, the franschhoek wine tram is a fun way to explore multiple places. I’ll DM you the company I use for guides

  23. Wife and I are doing this now. Have been for the past 2 years!

  24. So far it's been great. I would advise to make sure you're on solid footing relationship wise before diving head first, but I say go for it.

  25. Monthly airbnbs will get you the most discounting. Choose places you can do day trips or long weekend trips from.

  26. Oooh yeah, the discounts do get quite big for month long stays.

  27. To be honest, each one has its own charm. We really like Berlin, Krakow, Florence and Amsterdam. Would revisit those cities in a heartbeat.

  28. If you're thinking South Africa, think again. Your child is going to have a hell of a time here. Not so much the education side of it, but integrating into a very different culture.

  29. What culture? I find it difficult to believe that British descended South Africans are very different to British descended Canadians. The child would be in an English school not Zulu or Xhosa or Afrikaans.

  30. Ah that answered my question then. Totally my bad, I don't have kids so I was operating largely off of the assumption they would be in an Afrikaans school.

  31. I’m here right now, so yes. Did Joburg for a month, regretted it and am back in Cape Town.

  32. Does anyone know what the sudden change of heart on the part of Eskom is?

  33. I purchased captionator as well but never got it to work. It sucks.
