Iām in a very similar situation. I applied for mine on 1/2 and the only place on the internet that says itās 14 BUSINESS days is this thread. Iām very frustrated too because I HAVE to have that card for my job ASAP. Does anyone know if itās worth it to call or anything? And can anyone confirm if itās for sure 14 business days? Is it possible that it takes longer?
Iād say Iām decently strong. Theyāre a late game piece and I waited literally years to find a good local deal on some big dumbbells. I use them pretty much every chest day and back day. And when Iām in the mood overhead press for shoulders. Itās a novelty for sure. But so is having a gym in your garage! Haha
Do you think you'll use them regularly enough to justify the space? I go back and forth on the matter. Currently I've got rubber hex DBs up to 70# and then I use loadable DB handles for anything above that. It would be nice having 10# increments higher than 70# but they really start taking up mad space, and I'm not going above 100# more than once a week usually, if that.
Yes Iāll get plenty of use out of them. I use 100+ for pretty much all pressing and itās hard to beat a heavy dumbell for single arm rowing. I waited a long time to find a local deal and when these popped up I snagged them. Theyāre definitely an āend gameā or late stage gym piece. Itās a novelty and Iām lucky to have them. My team was 2-6 and now Iām in the Super Bowl. I renamed my team to the Phoenix because I rose from the ashes and now weāre shitting on everyoneās heads as weāre flying straight to victory!!!!!
My 3yo nephew visited me from Illinois and I'm in Arizona and I queued it up for the moment he came into my house š I hope to do that more so he associates the song with home/family.
