1. I absolutely hate the looming feeling that Biden's growing senility is going to drive independent voters away and Biden's stance on Israel/Palestine is going to drive away leftist voters, and the DNC is insistent on forcing us to accept the choice of "4 more years of Biden or 4 more years of Trump"

  2. I hear this from so many people on the left and I find it silly at this point. There has never been an "ideal" presidential candidate for anyone. Why do we have to act like we're making some huge sacrifice voting for biden? Presidential candidates have always been moderate career politicians, it's insane that many progressives are acting like NOW we need to put our foot down.

  3. For comparison, all of the Star Trek series in total only have 908.

  4. And they tried this exact thing a few years later. Didn't work as well as dr who, but still surprising.

  5. Marvels is able to elevate the fictional universe of Marvel Comics by humanizing and bringing out the themes which were planted over decades by different creators. It has no equivalent.

  6. Most comic book readers don’t like comics so much as the stories told through them. Plot and IP takes the primary focus above form and creator alike, and that unearned focus helps certain segments of the medium remain stagnant and unexciting.

  7. Starlin's The End is peak Thanos, and also a self-contained meditation on how fucking insane it is to live in a universe of connected storytelling

  8. I can't believe more people don't read this book. It's one of the most epic marvel comics.

  9. They really got me with this one. When I heard they were doing an in review, I figured I would just watch the first Saw since I was always curious. And now, I've seen 7 Saw movies in one weekend.

  10. Legit question. Can Skrulls not be blipped? It feels like every Skrull in this show had survived the snap.

  11. If I remember right, Talos said he brought the skrulls in when Fury was gone, so most of them came after the snap

  12. Barrett is correct on Case of the Golden Idol. It's maybe the first game to truly nail murder mystery gameplay. My favorite game from last year. Do not pass on it.

  13. Always though someone should do a fictionalized version, akin to the Master with L Ron Hubbard.

  14. There's a comic called "Hey Kids! Comics!" Which is this but it covers the whole comic industry.

  15. Its one of my favorite comics. Incredible art from Scalera and one of Remenders best.

  16. Has this ever happened before where the original cast makes a remake?

  17. Same reason he never calls for Superman, he doesn't want things too easy.

  18. Does anyone know who drew the comic in the opening to the original Superman movie?

  19. It was a 5/5. I need to say that, otherwise that Pikachu will murder me in my sleep.

  20. I want to start reading X-men and I made a list starting from Claremont's run.

  21. No. I read God Loves Man Kills before the rest of Claremont's run. It's pretty self contained as it was one of Marvel's first graphic novels.

  22. I butchered the wording of my original post lol. After those books is what I’m meaning, like after snyders run, or anything tied in with it?

  23. The end of Synder's run was really crazy and controversial, so no one really followed up on those stories.

  24. If you don't want to waste money, don't buy the box set. It's expensive and some of those sets are of varying quality. I'd get either the compendiums, paperbacks or hardcovers. You can easily get those cheaper. Especially if you buy them used. You can also get it from libraries, Fables is pretty easy to get your hands on.
