Agree that parts of the constitution should be considered for updating. And there is a process for that (formal Amendments). I think it would be highly entertaining because advocate/opponents (the politicians) for many proposed changes would have a very hard time articulating their positions in a way that was rational and would not get them laughed off the stage.

I just checked out STAR and it looks dubious to me. Essentially and overly complicated version of RCV, giving a point value instead of just a rank. I know that works for things like MVP voting in some sports leagues, but trying to scale that to millions of votes (with a lot of very dumb voters....) I just don't see it.
It actually simplifies the ballot counting process because the votes are counted once vs RCV every time a candidate is eliminated the votes need to be counted again.

Whitney has many amazing (recorded in the studio) songs to her credit - BUT she struggled in live performances. I know she has a wonderful Natty Anthem to her credit. But she has many many many live failures. Does not change a thing if she pulled of live singing a few times ...
