1. I listened to that Ganger album like 4-5 years ago and loved it but I never went back to it for some reason.

  2. Tortoise’s self titled album features two bassists.

  3. I’ve really been into Kerretta recently. Saansilo and Pirohia are great albums.

  4. I think I liked Slegehammer and Ball Hog, whichever one had the bit about the lady getting Foreign Accent Syndrome...but his last one was plainly unfunny, filled with nods and in-jokes to the fans of his dumb pods...it sucked.

  5. Sledgehammer was the most recent one.

  6. And Rodger’s title came when they were a 6th seed and had to win three road playoff games

  7. I recently was looking at their stats from that season and they actually had one of the best point differentials in the league but just lost a lot of close games. They lost by 3 points 4 different times and had a 4 point loss too.

  8. New Hell by Greet Death probably stands out to me the most. Some of the greatest guitar tones I’ve ever heard.

  9. I've been absolutely obsessed with greet death the last few months. They deserve so much more recognition

  10. Their new album is being mixed right now so hopefully we get that soon. I’m really hyped for it.

  11. Why was Jackie jr checking her out when she was a hostess and Jackie jr was eating with Ralphie?

  12. She was mad ripe. I’d like to break my dick off in her obleekay.

  13. They should’ve done it before the crank wore off.

  14. Check out Delving. It's Nick Disalvo from Elder's side project. Phenomenal stuff. A bit less stoney than his work with Elder, but very progressive and just a great listen.

  15. I had no idea Nick was in that band. I remember hearing one of their songs and thinking it sounded a lot like Elder lol

  16. I need a new Town Portal album. Been repeating their discography a lot the last 6 months or so.

  17. Gillis can be funny on podcasts sometimes but his standup is so much better.

  18. Oh fuck that. I adore his standup but his podcast is hilarious and exceptional. Plus it's also intellectual without pretentiousness. It's one of the funniest podcasts on the Internet by far. His cohost is brilliant and deserves more recognition for how talented he is.

  19. Yeah my point being that Matt cracks me up on the pod more often than Shane. It’s not a knock on him at all but I think guys like Tim Dillon and Mark Normand are more consistently funny on pods.

  20. How does everyone feel about Hard Light? TBH, I think I might like it best of their albums, which is not something I thought likely after a 30-year break.

  21. I think it’s really solid. Gal is a song I keep going back to. I love how they’re able to build such a dense atmosphere without any distortion on that one.

  22. People magically coming into existence by the plot device of getting out of prison that we’ve never heard of yet have deep connections to everyone’s past, including non-mob family members.

  23. I think it makes sense. We only see a very small fraction of these characters’ lives which leaves plenty of interactions that we don’t see as viewers for these never-before-seen people to be mentioned by the characters.

  24. I swear they always have a different bassist

  25. Livia was awful. Such a one-dimensional character. Plus the whole "mommy issues' thing is pretty cliche. It sucks the woman died, but I'm glad her character left the show.

  26. I’m just telling you how you’re being fucking perceived

  27. REM - and I think they’re better for it. Love a band that swings and strikes out rather than bands that stay in their safe lane.

  28. I’d say they were batting 1.000 for like 15 years though

  29. Death's Individual Thought Patterns (Steve Di Giorgio is a beast)

  30. I recently heard that for the first time and was really surprised how good the bass was compared to the other Death albums I’d heard. I didn’t realize they had a few bassists throughout their run.

  31. I just wrapped up the series again today and I’m finally in agreement with this theory. Tony has the “oh shit, here we go again” look on his face when he walks into the diner as if he’s watching himself get killed again.

  32. I cannot speak on the show as a whole but 6/16/95 has an absolutely insane Jim.

  33. The funniest part of that scene to me is the implication that Junior paid for HBO. The man was living in the same cheap old house farting in to the same couch cushion.

  34. Marston is such a beast. I’ve really been into Dysrythmia’s proggy stuff.

  35. Drinking contest? What am I, 12 and at my boyfriend’s frat party?

  36. The last Don Caballero album with Ian Williams, American Don, is all guitar loops since he was the lone guitarist during that time.
