1. I swerve all over now that I'm sober. Pull me over, imma park in the water filled hole area.

  2. I’m on Xbox and anything over 1.7 spawn rate makes my game laggy and crashes often..

  3. Oh that's interesting and awful! I'm about to hook up a new modem today, I'm gonna test out the lag on spawn rates before and after, see if it makes a difference. Or if it's just the servers for Xbox

  4. Doctors. Going from "you're too young to be sick!" to "you're getting older, what do you expect". I guess I expected treatment at some point, shocker.

  5. My understanding is that it is most effective if one uses med and attends talk therapies.

  6. Yes, I agree. I have an individual therapist at his office as well. This would be on top of the psychiatrist and therapist.

  7. My husband was seeing a psychiatrist and got put on meds that helped him immensely, but we couldn’t afford to go anymore. He talked to his pcp and now they provide the prescription and he sees a therapist (not a psychiatrist) who is getting hours toward her degree so she’s free and she’s helped him alot.

  8. That's a really smart idea! Good thinking! I have gotten on a wait list for a therapist that isn't at his practice. My pcp is aware of my medical history, so it's definitely worth a shot. Thank you! I live by a big university, so probably a lot of students.

  9. I truly feel you. I'm having 4 teeth surgically removed next month, lots of cavities, staining. Brushing my teeth makes me feel sick, often I'd throw up and be like how is this helpful? It's hard, no shame whatever it is. I used bubblegum barbie toothpaste most of my life because all the mint is burningly strong. The dentist didn't care about the pain I was in, like I deserve to endure it for being a fuck up.

  10. There is no easy life. life is pain. option a You're screwed option. b You're hopefully a little less screwed.

  11. This feels more accurate than rewards for suffering. I'm gonna suffer, it's just trying to mitigate how much long term.

  12. It's similar to flight attendant vs stewardess/steward. People use both, but server is more and more common as it's gender neutral and considered by some to sound more professional. I think there are also regional differences.

  13. That does seem very odd. Server was the preferred term everywhere I worked for the last 20 years. Some older women didn't care, but waitress had more negative connotations for sure.

  14. It's always been my gut feeling too. Considering we know how much stuff they picked and chose to reveal. Like the accidental conversation between Michael and his son on the stairs, when he didn't know his mic was still on.

  15. You can change any world setting slightly and it'll fix it for quite a while. I make the night slightly shorter.

  16. So it did update for Xbox? Today when I started playing I got the “world data cannot save” thing so I uninstalled my game and reinstalled. Now, I’m having the same issue as you. (Black screen after the Unreal logo)

  17. My game said it updated this morning just before 9am. It auto installed so I checked it. I'm on playing right now. I unplugged it and waited, then it got past the black screen. I hope that's not an everytime thing. don't know how long it'll last. But I did change a random setting in the world before starting, and the world save data error is gone again. I just made the night slightly shorter

  18. My ex wife would constantly tell me I needed to open up more and share my thoughts and feelings. I did one time, when she was out of work, about how stressed out I felt about providing for the family with only my income and how afraid I was that something would happen to me. She immediately made it about herself and needed my consoling.

  19. I can see how she would take that poorly. It's because of her not working that you felt stressed. Your feelings were tied to her actions. There's nothing you could do to change how you feel and that's valid. It's stressful! It was a conversation that needed to be had for sure. But it's two sided. Both the situation and the solution is on her. You felt it so she has to fix it. I'm not saying she didn't break it, but she's got to fix it too. So it wouldn't be all about either of you.

  20. But it's a conversation I had and listened to from her end many times. When my entire existence revolved around taking care of her, listening to her, meeting her needs, and "improve" my communication to meet her expectations, the fact that I can't take two minutes to say I'm worried without having to console her for my problems was extremely frustrating. This was not a one-off... over five years, I can't think of one time I opened up without her weaponizing my feelings or twisting them around to how much they hurt her. It was extremely toxic.

  21. Understandable. I'm glad you're in a healthier relationship. We've all had someone who was toxic or a narcissist when we put ourselves out there. I'm glad you didn't just shut down and accept it.

  22. Thank you for the kind words. At the risk of disappointing an internet stranger, I havent been 100% sober. I want to be but it’s honestly the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Gonna keep trying though!

  23. ❤️ It's tough. I couldn't do it without a Dr's help. Be honest with yourself and those around you. It'll be a saving grace. Goodluck! And it's OK if you have to keep trying.

  24. K. Dirty dishes , dirty toilet , sewage.

  25. Are cleaning it up? Because that would change things 😍

  26. I realized I miss the idea of sex so much. The actual sex was 99% trash. I hate my body/mind craving the idea of it so much when even a stupid cheap, very underpowered vibrator gives me mind shattering orgasms that are better than all but one g spot orgasm I had only once around 20 years old given to me by a man which was on par. Stupid biology.

  27. I wish I had an award for you! I totally agree, the thought of sex is great! But then my fat stomach bothers me and I'm distracted. And then it takes so much longer than a vibrator for less enjoyment. I have those couple memories from my twenties as well. But in general 👎.

  28. It wasn't their manipulation of interest rates that caused inflation, it was the multiple stimulus checks, directly injecting extra cash into the system, that devalues the dollar. Add to that the increased EBT benefits, and food prices skyrocketed. Now that the EBT increase is largely over hopefully prices will start to adjust.

  29. The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that in a weak economy, $1 in SNAP benefits generates $1.50 in economic activity. Making sure poor people who grease the gears of everyday life and thier children can eat, while stimulating economic activity. And don't forget TANF, the money ear marked to help needy people that's routinely used by politicians or people like Brett Favre as a slush fund for personal projects.

  30. In other parts of the world, people’s taxes are paying for it.

  31. *Barely higher taxes for a huge life altering payoff. I feel like Americans get stuck worried about the taxes when our medical bills are three times what we make in a year.

  32. Was he obsessed with you possibly? I had a bf who after a year or so admitted he had been in love with his best female friend. She'd take him drinking when he was trying to stay sober and drive crazy and always get the cops involved when they went out. So I said I can't deal with you maintaining this damaging relationship with her.

  33. Thanks for taking on the national debt! This is what they did when sacrificing Jesus too. Congrats!

  34. I miss middle wealth. My house and car are paid off. But my electric still got shutoff last week. Ten years ago I had no problem just buying a cheap house. Now we two jobs and a side gig, struggling so much that I spend hours making everything we eat from super scratch. Just buying sacks of flour and trading fresh bread for farm eggs and veggies. Which isn't even my side gig.

  35. As a millennial, I didn’t know I was helping destroy these industries. Yay! When do I get my plaque?

  36. You mean participation trophy? Pshhh. Just kidding they're over there 👉🏆

  37. Hey look, they couldn't care less about making you do extra work around the house if it means they don't have to do it.

  38. I'm willing to bet the shelters have plenty of open beds but the potential residents prefer the freedom of sleeping on the train.

  39. Yikes. More likely can't adhere to the crazy curfew. I've never actually seen an empty shelter, they line up outside in the late afternoon, door opens at 5, doors close for the night at 7, and you have to be out by 5am. The other shelters in town were just shut down because of funding, including the one shelter that took families. Because families usually can't stay together. So generally the men will stay on the street. There's no exception on the times for work, so the large population that works can't be out of work later than 4 or they'll miss lining up for a spot at the shelter. It's not that they "prefer" the freedom, but that it's necessary. No one prefers sleeping on a train to a bed.
