1. Oh don't worry I'm the same way, usually. I'm very nitpicky so whenever I do read a fic and I do not agree with the author's characterization, I get irrationally mad. It's not a good thing especially if it happens over and over again, so I ended up writing my own fics while ignoring everybody else's.

  2. I write but I don't read. I write mainly because I want to see a specific development that didn't happen in game. As for reading, I honestly don't have the energy and attention span for it nowadays

  3. You. You made me bust a lung. I was not expecting this comment in the slightest 😂😂😂

  4. I love making titles that make no sense unless you finish reading the fic. I write oneshots.

  5. I don't think you're being judgmental, it's just a matter of having different preferences. With that being said, it's alright to not finish the game if you don't want to!

  6. I'm sometimes a pantser and sometimes a...plantser? My first fic was definitely a case of taking an idea and running with it, and all of my ficlets are the same. My other two longer fics and the fics I'm currently working on (or theoretically working on), I had a general idea of the plot. Nothing so solid as an outline, mind, but something more substantial than "grab idea and run."

  7. I have never, ever been able to answer the plotter/pantser question properly because I felt like I was a mix of the two, but... after reading your comment, man did that hit hard. I'm the same way. Too many details in an outline wouldn't make me motivated to write a fic, but if I don't have a general idea on what happens next on my fic, I wouldn't be able to proceed, either.

  8. "Here she is, Erina Nakiri, alongside Urara Kawashima," Kazune stated, and the old man felt his butt cheeks tighten the hardest they had ever done so since the summer of '59.

  9. This sentence screams Shokugeki to the core. Lol that's hilarious.

  10. All the damn time. Like I know deep down I'm good, I know people like my shit but I just think I'm horrible at it all. Like, okay for example, I once got a fan mail gushing about how much she loved my character and loved the story (and porn) and how she couldn't wait for the next chapter. My respond was to ask if she meant another author because my work was shit. She later married me but I do question her judgement ten years later.

  11. This took a turn but wow do I love it! lol

  12. both of you are spot on so similar with my experience with rarepairs... it's nice to see other people suffer as i do

  13. Even if there are no keeds to fid, there's yourself to feed!

  14. I'm sure my FBI agent is both very concerned and very confused at my search history.

  15. I'll personally be terrified of Vil, Silver, Epel, and Ortho 💀😂

  16. If this audio intrigues you, I IMPLORE you to watch the original commercial series the audio comes from. Funniest set of ads I’ve ever seen, never fails to make me smile. Just search up long long man commercial on YT, you’ll find it at the top lol

  17. Agreed!!! The ending is SUCH a plot twist. In the best way possible.

  18. (I am apparently incapable of writing fluff without a dash of angst so enjoy I suppose)

  19. oh my GOD this is beautiful, do you have the link for this?!

  20. Thank you! I do, but fair warning, there’s a lot of angst until the fluff kicks in!

  21. Thank you so much! I'll give it a go when I'm relatively free. (And so my Marked for Later tab grows...)

  22. Oh man... Most of my ships are rare pairs. I just thrive off the fact that I'm one of the few (or in some cases, the ONLY) person who ships this pair & writes for them. Like, I'm so used to it now, it doesn't even bother me anymore.

  23. Yes!!! Receiving a comment about how the reader starts shipping the rarepair you just wrote for feels so good!!! It feels like you managed to drag someone else down into your personal hell after suffering alone. Spite truly is the greatest motivator, especially when at least one half of your rarepair is in an insanely popular ship. Bonus points if BOTH the characters are in two different popular ships.

  24. An anon named "omg" also commented "omg." I absolutely have no idea what emotion that person is trying to express but I always wish them well whenever I remember them

  25. Oh my gosh thank you so much for this OP. Absolutely lovely. They both have a hilarious dynamic that I couldn't get enough of 😂

  26. These designs and characters you drew reminds me of mahoyaku! They're wonderful ☺️

  27. Ngl, SAME. Their Lilia heavily reminded me of Oz for some reason. It's definitely the ponytail hahaha. Great work, OP!

  28. did you know that when a male octopus nuts, he goes into a post nut clarity so deep and overwhelming that he just...floats around aimlessly in the sea, doesn't eat, doesn't interact anymore, and ends up literally rotting away alive until he eventually dies?

  29. Well, they're mermen so surely there are differences? 😂

  30. Oh my god I love this. That's super unique!

  31. Lucio and Portia is an interesting one. It's certainly new for me.

  32. More than happy to spread the gospel! I see Lucio as someone who has a penchant for adventures after reading his upright end, and Portia's personality fits in the bill as a potential companion. I was sold when Portia

  33. It's ironic, actually; if MC is involved, I ship Lucio and Julian, considering Lucio flirted with him before he died.

  34. RIGHT. LUCIO AND JULIAN. How could I forget! I also love them to bits. They make a funny dynamic. In my head they would work out so well if Lucio weren't so... gestures vaguely you know. 😂

  35. You just have to finish the chapter! Happy playing 😊

  36. That's way too many crimes in one image. 😂

  37. If you aren't sure on how the ending will be, perhaps an open end could work? Best of luck to you and your fic, OP!
