Nope, kept it. You can properly wire it to keep it. Plus if you get rid of the amp the factory sub won’t work.
Oh awesome. And good point on the sub I forgot about that. Pretty sure in that install it lost the sub. I have seen kits that include the required wiring and adapters to retain it but I just ended up putting a factory head unit and speakers back in from a parts car

Do the US 9th Gen Si’s not have fog lights? All the Canadian ones do. Looks like you’re missing the vtec stickers and lip spoiler too?
They came with fogs but I covered them up to simplify the front end. Didnt come with a lip from the factory here in the US, but it does have the vtec sticker!

Since the mounting bracket is tied into the cooler, it won’t actually sag much if at all. No stress on the PCIe slot. Still too big though.

Are you sure it's scratches? Aluminum is pretty soft and might have just marked the window by rubbing off. When it's above freezing out, try cleaning with soap, water, and a non-scratch dish pad.

Pretty sure the Si 8th gen blue is slightly different from the normal 8th gen blue, that’s probably why. Only thing I dislike is the chrome they added to the trunk after the 08 model year.
There’s a definitely a lighter blue too, but I’ve seen it on an Si as well. Also totally agree about the chrome they added in the facelift. Love the front end though. Did you know they changed the seats slightly on the Si too? Same design but different material for the mesh. More scratchy on the later models
It’s best to warm up while driving for all engines. I also have an 8th gen Si and I wait for the revs to drop to 1,500RPM after a cold start and get going. Keeping it below 3,000 ish until it’s warm
