1. I repair damage like this daily, I am a professional though. Requires bondo, sandpaper, pigments, and finish. If you look up a furniture repair company that specializes in "on-site" repair, It should cost whatever their 1 hour fee is. $100-$200 (not everyone can do it). If you can't find someone, call your local Ethan Allen and ask who does their warranty work with wood. Whoever that is will be able to fix it (i do their warranty work in VA. Here is a picture off the back of a book I wrote about furniture repair for any non believer. *

  2. Amazing repairs. Commenting to remind myself to follow your posts.

  3. Lol no these were actual wooden pews that were first installed in 88 when the building was built. We did a upgrade in the early 2000's. The church put the word out that we had 30 plus pews to get rid of. Dutch & Co was one of a handful of organizations that came to get some. I was there when they picked them up and helped the folks get them loaded up.

  4. I have 4 pew ends that dutch had left over from that I still haven't done anything with

  5. I had this issue about 9 years ago. I put bait stations in my crawl, plugged all holes with steel wool, and also bought a "walk the plank" mouse trap to get the ones who were already inside. I felt bad drowning the mice, but they had to go and snap traps and glue traps didn't always "finish the job" anyway. A mouse will chew off its own legs or tail to get out of a trap and then leave trails of blood from said trap.

  6. I had to call the city earlier because I was trying to clear up a property tax issue, and the recording told me the offices were closed "in observance of the holiday." I guess that's a better message than what actually happened.

  7. If you have an ezpass and are in delinquent status, they send you a photo of the violation in the mail. You may be able to contact them and get a picture since the transponder was triggered. I assume they would have the record. I just can't remember who controls that toll, but the site should tell you. The cops will probably do this, but you should be able to as well

  8. The Richmond Grand Resort and Casino and also Middle School

  9. Call Joel Bieberrrrrr 🎶🎵 If you know that song, you’re old and local. Let’s hang out.

  10. I waited on Joel Bieber a few years ago. He was instantly recognizable as he was wearing a very bright blue suit with an outlandish tie (just like in his commercials). He was an absolute pleasure and left a very generous tip. I can't say the same for some other local TV lawyers.

  11. My wife and I watched it exactly once after we had finished a few months of counseling. That's how accurate it was.

  12. I had to ask a group of them to leave a bar I worked at 5 or so years ago. They came in wearing their cuts, ordered, were nice enough initially. Then the loud racial slurs came and I noticed SS tattoos, swastikas on shirts and so on. It was a tense interaction asking them to leave. They tried to say they wear the racist shit as a "fuck you" to the angels. I told them I didn't care why they wore it, but that they couldn't wear it in our bar. They left, tipped exceedingly high on their credit cards, and wrote fuck you on their receipts. I didn't enter their tips because I didn't want their money.

  13. That electrons exist and behave in nice, neat energy levels. This is still taught despite being entirely wrong. That being said, I think it's about teaching order and scientific method despite it being absolute bollocks.

  14. No shade here. I'm laughing at the.accuracy and specificity of your post.

  15. 🎶and if I had the choice , yeah I'd always wanna be there. Those were the best days of my life🎶

  16. Same here. Incredible that the burritos made chipotle burritos look small.

  17. I miss A Taste of Italy. No frills, non expensive neighborhood joint way out in midlo. They closed because the owners retired.

  18. There is an event at Richmond international raceway usually during late September or early October called Touch a Truck. They'll have all sorts of cool vehicles for your little one to check out

  19. Came to post this. We go every year. They have firetrucks, construction equipment, boats, and so on. The kids love it.

  20. They don't even do a Taco Tuesday. I think they are mediocre.

  21. Seeing as taco Tuesday is your measuring stick, I disregard the last half of your statement.

  22. Went to the Emerald cocktail lounge in churchill. They sat us what felt like two inches from 2 flanking parties. Ugh. So damn close. Practically felt family style but everyone was on a date. Lol.

  23. Emerald as a concept was inspired by cuban bars of the 1920s and LA bars of the 1970s, which were a throwback to those same cuban bars, so that explains the heavy presence of rum and tequila. It's meant to be a tiki focused establishment. As far as your old fashioned experience goes, whoever made your second one probably went a little heavier on the bitters than the first. Angostura when mixed with sugar and whiskey comes off as a cinnamon to some.

  24. I heard those people Have a structured settlement AND THEY NEED CASH NOW

  25. Last time I went there I was held up at gun point. Sorry about your gas prices.

  26. Jeeez, how’d you get out of that one?

  27. I gave the dude my wallet. I'm wasn't dying over a couple debit cards and 80 bucks. The most annoying part was getting a new license.

  28. I used to work by the midlo one and went quite often. Was so bummed when they closed.

  29. The only people advocating for tip culture are restaurant owners who get a subsidized workforce and servers who make bank (and underreported their tips).

  30. I'm going to disagree with you here, respectfully. Yes, the barrier for entry is low, but waiting tables and/or bartending are not low skill occupations. People skills are not automatic, and neither is the amount of mental acuity required to multitask the way the job requires. The late nights and long hours aren't for everyone either. A truly great server is just as skilled and professional as any regional VP of whatever company. Also not withholding that there are numerous studies that indicate they are the most stressful jobs. I remember one a few years ago that listed bartending and serving as the highest stress jobs, just ahead of neurosurgeon.
