  8. For a good tzatziki make sure the cucumbers are properly drained. You want it fairly thick, not runny. From there on there are loads of variations on how to do it.

  17. I 100% recommend Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar. But go in, not to the takeaway counter. Been there plenty of time, best comfort food after a stressful day at work. We usually order the same things, but they were always really good. I can definitely recommend the soups, especially the Crispy Roast Porkchop and the Sour Spicy Sliced beef. The noodles are made in there (you can actually see the chefs doing them) and offered in two versions La Mian and Dao Xiao Mian. Portion Size is big, and the price is really good and the food is tasty. My girlfriend usually gets an upset tummy from Chinese food, was never the case with them. We never spent more than £30 in there for a side to share, two mains and drinks. Also, they don't serve alcohol and is not exactly a place where you go to stay for a while. You go in, you eat, you leave.
