  14. Garmin is very optimistic in its predictions. They assume optimal training and don’t factor in fatigue for longer distances very well.

  15. Can you say more about runalyze and how you use it? Going to be running a marathon this coming October and honestly have no clue what a realistic time is to work towards. I've been running consistently 4-5 days/wk, 15-25 mi/wk since last March so I have a rough estimate in my head, but would be curious to see what the data suggests.

  16. The difference in time predictions for me is about half an hour. With garmin being the more optimistic. Runalyze predict closer to my actual race time.

  17. according to the setting page, the elevation correction formula adds more distance for an increase in elevation than it reduces distance for same decrease in elevation. So it looks like it already accounts for it. However you can always change the settings if you don't like it

  18. I tried all the above. Only melatonin and magnesium worked for me. I then went down the magnesium rabbit hole trying to find the one that didn’t give me diarrhea and none of the worked for me. I now keep melatonin for those nights when I just can’t settle down.

  25. Just show your GP you SPO2 and ask your GP for a sleep study. They monitor way more things than the home test kits and can also tell you if there is something else going on.
