I remember this scene. I think this was intentional. So when watching, the viewer is just as lost as the non-French speaking characters in the show. You’re in suspense wondering what is happening. Just as the team is when this guy shows up.

Sounds exactly like my kitten about a year ago!! I had to train him to be more independent because he was on me all hours of the day. I wrote a blog post about my experience and what I did to get him to be more independent. He wants my attention often but is no longer ‘clingy’. Hope this helps!
