I’ve always been told not to submerge it but it came from another tank and has been fully submerged for about 2 years and seems to do fine, as far as the biofilm this might be the case as I’m not sure what the tori gate is made of but there seems to be quite a bit of it on the rocks too!

It’s very possible they were over-fed while I was gone, I am going to do a small water change and gravel vaccum up the film and hope that takes care of things, thank you!

You've got a bacterial overload. Where are you getting your water from? Do you have anything else in the tank, like plants or anything? What are you feeding them, and how much (is there any food leftover ever)?
The bullfrog tank is a 10gal with some natural plants I got from their pond (like 2 small bundles) and some duckweed, they get 3 boiled spinach leaves which are fully consumed before they get any more. The tree frogs are in a 3gal with a stalk of underwater bamboo and get fed the same thing (proportionately) the water comes from my sink and is treated with a beta water prepping solution for chemicals and ph to distill it
The bullfrogs don’t have a hard time sinking but I assume it’s because they are heavier and there is a larger quantity of water
That’s pushing the limits of what is normal for sure. I also have a zotac 3070 and mine doesn’t even hit 70C in elden ring on basically max settings… something seems funky
Yeah even my friends 20 series are fine
the 3070 under 100% load in my case never exceed 75-80C. Then, I undervolted it and adjusted the fan curve and now it never goes about 70C.
