You’re absolutely not wrong, been living in brooklyn since 2022 and nyc food for the average consumer has been incredibly mid, it’s wanting. Personally I think because nyc is oversaturated with choices on top of choices (which yes it’s great to have so many options), most restaurants start to blend in with one another in terms of quality.
There was a recent post in the Super Smash Brothers sub where someone made a tier list of which characters would actually be OP at their max, and everyone pretty much agreed that Super Sonic alone would be the OP compared to the roster, which obviously includes Mario. That episode for sure wanted to be controversial
Not SF, but born and raised in SJ then moved to KY in 2015. Being dead honest, Louisville, KY has some of the best beans in the country (Sunergos, Quills, Safai, Please and Thank You). I believe Sunergos has won nationally before too when it comes to comps. But anyways, if you’re down to try something new and don’t mind getting it delivered definitely try branching out to the Midwest !
