1. Actually I believe he said it was a video of a triangle at night...this might be what he was referencing, but it appears to be more like dusk than night. Saw the same thing when I was 13 in rural Washington State.

  2. Wait, I’ve missed this video up to now. What on earth is this?!

  3. I'm surprised you haven't seen this one it's very old, here's a short article about it on military.com which contains the video.

  4. Firstly, I love the passion from the OP. Bravo on that my friend. I’ll give you a fat award for the time you took to write that and get people excited.

  5. Jesus. Ugh. Every post in this sub is worse than the last.

  6. There’s nothing wrong with asking the group what it is. The OP hasn’t said ‘MY GOD LOOK AT THIS ALIEN SHIP!’. It’s helpful for me to see lots of these videos and understand the explanations so I build up my own knowledge of what can be identified and what can’t.

  7. Dude, it’s ok, and perfectly normal to feel this way. Take a breath and take some time off. Put Reddit down and just read a book for a few days (not sci fi). I had a proper breakdown one day, full on, when I think it all really dawned on me. But it passed and when you come to realise it just ‘is’ then you can stop looking so hard for answers. Trust me I want to KNOW stuff. But just accepting that I DO believe has come to be enough, for now at least. Once you accept it for what it is, you can start looking at the world in a different way and it can become REALLY liberating. A whole new world of paranormal activity has opened up to me recently and I embrace it and just accept it. Bottom line - it’s perfectly normal to be horrified. Without being too conspiratorial about it, we are conditioned to believe in facts and boundaries since day dot. It’s kind of necessary to be part of a functioning society. Once you step outside that it’s a hell of a headf*ck to think differently. You’ll be fine; just be kind to yourself and take a break every now and then 🙂

  8. I have stabilized the video for you:

  9. - George, you and others experienced the hitchhiker effect after visiting the ranch. Are these experiences still happening to you and/or your loved ones to this day?

  10. Dude, you’ve covered all of my questions. Bravo. Take a fat award 👏

  11. Well the chute is is visible I'm referring to the circular object that comes flying from the right side of the screen.

  12. I think regardless of whether the black thing is a bird, you have a duty to explain that’s what you’re referencing in the video. I had to scroll down comments and look really closely to see it. The obvious thing is that you’re referring to the parachute.

  13. I didn't realize I had to explain the obvious and the fact people literally thing I'm talking about that says alot. You can see the strings of the chute, of course it's not the key factor of the video.

  14. Dude, I’m just saying maybe by saying ‘next to the parachute’ it might make people look properly rather than jump on you. I’m only trying to help as a good Reddit citizen so you don’t get a load of downvotes and sarcasm.

  15. Whatever it is, it is kind of beautiful! I’d blow it up and frame it 😊

  16. I'd be crying and shaking too. It's just your brain reacting to something you can't recognize/categorize...outside the realm of experience..does not compute. Your going to be OK.

  17. I had two labs as a child and one time I was climbing a garage and they where locked up in their side kennel, I slipped and fell and landed on my back. I was gasping for air as my dogs barked wildly and I kept hearing “are you ok?” Over and over and no one else was around….

  18. First of all, hope you were ok and no lasting damage. Second of all, that’s cool. Something going on there eh?!

  19. Huzzah! Love is ALL. Just be kind, people 🥰

  20. Obviously this is personal opinion but I went to see it last month. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited about the theatre. I left feeling utterly dejected. I’d not even give it one star. There were no redeeming features to it at all. The acting and script was atrocious and the use of puppets as daemons was just really poor. I can honestly say I wish I hadn’t seen it - I came away thinking that LBS was a crap story but I LOVED IT when I read it. I was so bitterly, bitterly disappointed 😔

  21. This is by far my favorite footage I've seen since I started dumping time into this sub

  22. I loved seeing this again. On the zoomed in version you can see if bank round the hill and it is GLORIOUS to watch 😍

  23. Just want to say it’s a delight to read your replies to everyone. A proper good Reddit citizen! 😊

  24. Thank you lol I’ve actually been having a great day listening to some of the podcasts, I work alone and I can listen to things for sometimes up to 9 hours a day, so I’ve been having a great day with the new podcasts and I’ve ordered some books that people suggested as well 😊❤️

  25. I listened to one of the recommended podcasts on the train home today - monsters among us. Was really enjoying this story some guy was telling about seeing a shadowy mothman type thing drop down from a tree and the guy was like ‘the size of it, it just shocked me’ and I was thinking ‘jees, I wonder how tall it was, 8ft? 9ft?’. And he goes ‘it stood up and it was TWO FOOT TALL’ 🤣 I actually laughed out loud on the train coz it totally wasn’t what I was expecting 😂

  26. You know this is the reflection of the tv on a window right? It’s even back to front…

  27. Think he’s still hanging out in Woking eating Pizza. And my autocorrect genuinely just tried to correct hanging to banging.

  28. Is there any proof this Dienach chap actually existed? Or are we just being appreciative of a good story? Trust me, I want to believe this story but I like to know the sources, and after a quick check online I can’t seem to find evidence of him being a real person. Would love to be proved wrong!

  29. Toward the end of the video I cover a few theories. No proof at all that he existed. Most likely the story is a twist on HP Lovecraft's "Shadow out of time", which was published in 1936.

  30. Had never heard of Lovecraft before this so thanks for bringing to my attention!

  31. What happens when the cat catches a mouse? Vegan diet or not, the animal is gonna catch things and devour them (if our cat is anything to go by… btw, what’s the deal with the heart? Literally the only bit, bar the tail, left on the doormat in the morning).

  32. I was terrified until the third image when I saw that it was smiling… oh, wait.

  33. In my one and only bout of sleep paralysis I did, I am thoroughly convinced I was attacked by a creature that looks very much like these pictures. I was actually attempting to astral project via a guided meditation video on YouTube, after weeks of trying I finally succeeded. I was looking down at my sleeping body when my attention was drawn to my walk-in closet, any and all control and peace I felt for those fleeting moments of astral projection left my bubble of consciousness. It’s slowly creeped out of my closet and had freakishly pale skin like a corpse with blue varicose veins, it morphed into my toddler daughter at my bedside and I was suddenly thrust back into my body but unable to move or breathe. It felt like pure malice was forcing me down into the bed as it made my toddler daughter violently shake like a seizure, the skin on her face began to droop very much like she was having a stroke, a disturbing wale came from it as it shook. I wanted to say the words “let me go” but I couldn’t, I could only think them. I then began repeating “let me go” over and over with more force until my voice cracked “let me go” I began feeling the force lift as I kept repeating myself louder until I fully woke up, I found myself sitting up and completely bewildered about the whole thing. This was five year ago now and it freaked me out so bad I’ve slept with a sleep mask every night since to avoid the possibility of anything like that happening again.

  34. Well that sounds absolutely effing terrifying 🤮

  35. I read in a native american legends book once (the sacred oak and something) the "hat man" is a guardian who stands at the divide between dreaming and waking worlds. The purpose is to keep humans from dreaming in the waking world. This ties in to how Wendigo or Skinwalkers, are said to be shaman who practice a brutal ritual in order to gain the ability to dream while awake. Often these shaman would take the form of a large black canine like creature or flying creature of the night. Kinda like vampires or werewolves.

  36. Hag and hatman are classics... His description reminds me of tales of odin, and of parts of the carlos castinayas books (spelt wrong soz)

  37. Seriously reminds me of the sandman comics too

  38. Pretty sure I remember seeing they had Tug Of War that year too. And only two teams competed or something 😂😂😂

  39. "Hey Bob I’m looking at what Jack was talking about and it’s definitely not a particle that’s nearby. It is a bright object and it’s obviously rotating because it’s flashing, it’s way out in the distance, certainly rotating in a very rhythmic fashion because the flashes come around almost on time. As we look back at the earth it’s up at about 11 o’clock, about maybe ten or twelve diame…Earth diameters. I don’t know whether that does you any good, but there’s something out there"

  40. I effing LOVE this track. It’s 7.39am and the kids are still asleep but I’m whacking it up to 11 and getting the party started. The drums at 1’43… HEAVEN. Thank the lord for Daft Punk 😍

  41. Yes. I think this is a pretty normal human experience. Our perception of time is somewhat elastic.

  42. Elasticity is the right word. I’ve had it a lot over the years. I also like sometimes trying to take command of time by going into a zone and doing things very methodically - time defo appears to slow down then. It’s incredible what you can get done in five minutes when you think about it.

  43. Where should I make note of my drawings?
