I've read them all except for the latest written by Lee Child's brother. Yes, worth it apart from a couple which I didn’t enjoy as much as the best ones. Even the short stories are really good imho. I started reading them yonks ago, well before the films or TV series, so I had a very clear mind's eye picture of how Reacher should look.
Same. Read and reread all of them. I’m a writer as well as a reader, and I learned a lot from these books. A lot of craft went into them, more than they’re usually given credit for. To my eyes, they’re so much better than other contemporary thrillers, and indeed a lot of contemporary writing in general.
Imo the show was perfect. Start to finish. I have not read the book, but I've seen The Talented Mr. Ripley. The movie is also very solid. But this mini series....wow. It blew me away.
The sale of guns and gun ownership is much more common and legally supported in the U.S. than in most other countries, where gun laws are much stricter.

Ya know, I used to be neither here nor there about P!nk and mostly just knew her music from what played on the radio a lot. At one point my friend offered me a free ticket to go to a P!nk concert with her and honestly…I was blown away! She really put on a great show and had amazing energy. I didn’t realize how many songs of hers I actually knew, but she’s just had that many popular songs over the years of her career.
My D&D epic poetry would be up there, for sure. A student found it on LiveJournal through advanced Google Fu this year. Remains good for a laugh, forty years after I wrote it.
i'm going to chime in here and let you know that what you're hearing isn't frank's musical decision-making. that's what we'd call a 'tommyism'. that's just tommy being tommy, doing what tommy does. you want an epic horn solo? tommy has you covered.

Agreed one hundred percent. It’s my favourite show of the year so far. And it’s been a strong year already. So beautiful and patient and devastating.
