1. This is the most Korean baseball I’ve watched since Covid.

  2. Par 5 with 2 dog legs and an approach over a lake protecting the green so always a 3 shot green with a driver, mid iron and wedge. My tee shot was shorter than usual so my second shot was a 3w. The left side of the fairway is lined with 2 story hotel room buildings. Hooked my 3w and heard glass shatter. Nothing happened. It was early Covid days and the resort was shut down to visitors and no one was around. If it was an occupied guest room it would have been a different story.

  3. Once the NBC accountants moved Golf Channel studios from Florida to the center of the golf universe in Connecticut 🙄 it became something different.

  4. The problem with the shotgun start is that the broadcast pretty much feels like a highlight show of shots instead of an unfolding story. A good leaderboard with the contenders all over the course finishing at the same time just falls flat. There’s no back 9 drama to develop because there is no back 9.

  5. Who is this guy? Why am I seeing so many posts about him?

  6. Over a decade ago he was young and his star was burning bright. He got hurt, took an insurance settlement, and stopped playing professionally. For those that know about him he became a myth and people want to see an insane comback story. Now that he's back, reality is going to hit.

  7. You can tell he's been out of the game for a while. He's wearing white tube socks.

  8. But how does Mookie feel about Yamamoto’s reaction to Ohtani’s evaluation?

  9. You want public money to fund your stadium? Cool. We'll trade that for a like amount of equity in your team and decrease our stake as you pay us back.

  10. Blonde mullet, mustache, penguin shirt. He's the new Cam Smith.

  11. I've seen bad player names and shoddy quality, but have other teams had their script/name messed up like this too?

  12. There's no such thing as a 3/4" joint. You dropped a roach.

  13. Not terrible. They should add bases on the corners and it would be an even better look. Ownership is basically sponsoring themselves anyways.

  14. I heard that Ohtani hit a HR earlier in the day. The Dodgers should have sold high, but now they're stuck with him.

  15. I was standing green side on a par 4 and got hit square in the back at Van Nuys.

  16. The rule is there for deterrence. We obviously can't live in a world where there isn't a requirement to correctly sign a scorecard. A PGA tour player may not intentionally cheat on a scorecard but you can't say it isn't a possibility at lower competitive levels that won't have the same, or any media coverage at all, or the the same amount of monitoring on-site. So, just like equipment and balls and other rules, it is all about playing the same game as everyone else whether you're on tour or trying to make a high school team.
