1. I just love how even they say that the blue logo should never be used on marketing materials.

  2. I wish they would just use their premium logo.

  3. If anyone hasn’t seen it, go watch “6 days to air, the making of South Park.” It chronicles a 6 day period where they go from having nothing, to having an episode, story boarded, animated, voices recorded , everything. And thrown together to air on comedy central that week. Since the show’s inception, they have only failed to miss that deadline once, and that was the fault of the network.

  4. Also, I think an issue is that they have to release them as a "season". Maybe it'd be better if a season just meant a year. And they'd work every week they have an idea and can make an episode. Be that 5, 10, 20 weeks a year.

  5. I'm sure there are many alternatives like you described.

  6. I agree, tho when I complain about bad drivers, It's normally about those deliberately breaking the rules.

  7. While Mercedes and AM can't fight consistently for podiums, I feel like they can fight enough for it to be odd to be part of F1.5. I mean, Alonso just qualified p2 last race. The gap between the top 5 teams and the bottom 5 is large and clear this year.

  8. It seems the core reason is just that they don’t know how to stay monetized well in the current climate. I knew something was going wrong when I heard them promoting their own advertising in their advertising. While I agree that a lot of their coverage is biased in dumb ways, that’s probably not the reason why. NPR has been the best source for coverage on the Supreme Court and Trumps trials for me. Personally I’d give anything to get the abominable culture shows out, sorry I just do not care about your opinions on that stuff.

  9. Yeah, whenever I hear a podcast advertise for another podcast, I have to wonder how is it all a sustainable business model.

  10. Ngl, surprised Audi is going for a 3 year contract. I'd think 2 at most would be offered. Doubt Haas is offering him that long of a contract either.

  11. I mean Lewis had a "2 year" contract with Mercedes. It's likely 1+1+1 or 2+1.

  12. Apologies about the paywall, but managed to source a few main points from Twitter/X:

  13. But Zak has been adamant from the outset that the McLaren model will not have title sponsors but a whole bunch of normal sponsors.. but I guess for enough money, even Zak will bend over and drop trou. We saw Ferrari did with the disgusting design..

  14. I'd assume they'll go the same way as Ferrari. Title sponsor yes, but the team name comes first.

  15. And yet Pastor Maldonado is still the last Williams driver to win a race. A record that may stand for a long time.

  16. As the only latinamerican driver, and personally sponsored by one of the richest men in the world (Carlos Slim), it is very likely that he has a bunch of personal sponsors that are attractive enough to, at least, back marker teams.

  17. sorry, but all the old farts seem to cling on something that was never a good idea.

  18. Couldn't agree more. Especially wanting to see reliability decrease.

  19. The problem with a reliability decrease nowadays is that each DNF has a high probability of a Safety Car period because the car stranded somewhere on the track. And in contrast to ~10 years ago, they don't keep stranded cars at the sidelines anymore but they remove them with a crane and marshals, and getting these onto track is an automatic SC or even red flag. So I fear decreasing reliability would lead to even worse races with more SC/red flag periods.

  20. Oh, definitely. More SC is not a problem imo. Might be unfair and luck based, but I do like the unpredictability it can cause. Nowadays hoping for a SC seems like a Fool's errand. The real issue is that they haven't figured out how to remove cars/fix barriers fast enough. If SC were one or two laps at most, they'd be no issue

  21. I wonder how much HP is paying for Ferrari to break the color coordination in their suits/cars.

  22. Interesting they aren't going with the "modern" HP logo that you see in high end laptops.

  23. When the Usos split, one of them should’ve taken the initiative to change up their moveset a bit. Would’ve made for a better Mania match.

  24. Honestly, both should have had developed their "singles moveset". That way, the identical "tag team moveset" would work as a callback instead of just feeling like fighting an echo in Smash

  25. On the other hand, even if it improves user experience, people will still complain.

  26. That's not inflation...

  27. Call me a pessimist, but I don't think a blanket ban is gonna survive any challenges

  28. Estaba a punto de cagarla masivamente, se acató al silencio y horas después, mejor se entregó.

  29. You do know this is a civil case, right?

  30. Not a lawyer, but didn't he break the NDA by not paying her the agreed amount, effectively making it void?

  31. Breaking the terms of a contract doesn't make it void, it makes it enforceable on a court of law (plus other things like damages).

  32. Wait, are you seriously trying to tell me you think the colour red is superior to blue!

  33. In cars and power Rangers, yes. It is a known fact that red cars go vroom vroom faster.

  34. First time I had a house near enough to order from McDonald's I payed so much money that I stopped eating McDonald's for months.

  35. Really? If you use the coupons from the app it's still pretty affordable.

  36. I recommend watching the Pilot as its events are canon to the story (just with different voices, animation style and designs)

  37. Canon unless contradicted I'd say.

  38. People tend to scream monopoly at any major player in any market.

  39. Well, they tried with the Concorde. We all saw how that turned out.
