1. I mean iPhone 15 Pro costs at least 1200 eur while Pro Max is starting at about 1500. Pixels are indeed cheaper although their pricing changes are not reasonable.

  2. aye they are cheaper but the price difference isn't that great. remember- you don't really have to buy the Pro Super-Duper Max version to enjoy it.

  3. it wouldn't be. in the town i live there is a couple of retards who in fact do have their amstuffs on lead, but half of the time they don't even hold the lead. dog can still run towards you and than the owners looks surprised

  4. As long as he goes down on you as often as you go down on him I see no reason. what is a love making without some French love?

  5. what camera? is it within the laptop, or is it an usb one? does it work with other distributions?

  6. No Every software that uses polkit will make use of it. That should include all software coming with your desktop environment

  7. gnome (and sudo) works perfectly fine with a fingerprint unlock on ubuntu.

  8. I meant the second answer within the link.' pam-auth-update exists in ubuntu (and perhaps in debian), not in opensuse.

  9. The issue is that if you enable multiverse/universe repos on Ubuntu LTS you are setting yourself up for security issues.

  10. if you want to stick to the 'static' releases (as opposed to rolling release) than there is nothing wrong with ubuntu lts with 'pro' subscription.

  11. "We will not tolerate threatening behaviour!" - isn't it funny that I havent seen warnings like that in pharmacies and shops in other countries. bust be a british thing

  12. also NixOS is sort-of immutable. I haven't used it, but OP can google it if they want

  13. even with it enabled, it's still more of the general suggestion (same applies to snaps; especially on non-ubuntu systems).

  14. out-of-the-box? no, it's more secure. mostly because most of the malware are designed for windows.

  15. I concur with OP. So much more you can do with with Linux, other than regular desktop computing.

  16. you are right. it's not, however, what makes an OS "simple" or "complex". at least not in my book

  17. They do check your blood type when you are pregnant, because they need to know your rhesus factor. If you are, for example, O- and the baby is O+, you will need an injection of something called Anti-D to stop your body from attacking the baby’s blood cells. Your blood type is in your paperwork for you to see.

  18. yeah... they have never asked me, a father, for my blood type thou when my wifey was pregnant with our child.

  19. Right? I never said they checked the fathers’? Why would they?

  20. to check if there is a chance of rhesus disease? I mean it can be quickly ruled out if both parents are negative

  21. Exactly, it's the opposite of how it's been framed.

  22. was it when the major took the rifle to shoot the rat that ended up in the biscuit tin on the end (the rat, not Major)?

  23. nice weather, good food, it's easy to find an overnight companion if one is into that. and it's cheap so even someone from middle class can afford it. if only language would be somehow easier :E

  24. why do the americans swaddle their kids anyway? it only inhabits their arms and legs movement

  25. Yes it is, developer options and nominate the app you want to use fake gps data for.

  26. aye, thanks. but I don't see any option to set it per application, instead of system-wide. I would love to be able to use a mock one for, let say, tinder (let's pretend i'd get some swipes, lol) and a real one for maps. it would be useful as some apps do require gps location on (god knows what for).
