1. I’ve personally had so much more success with fimming instead of topping, and the plants get so much bigger. I’ve done an experiment with my current flowering plants with Fimming, topping, and a combo of both, and I’d say fimming is just so much more easier. You can literally do it once and never have to do it again because everything grows evenly.

  2. Try EcoGro. Their selection isn't great, and it's more expensive than online, but they do in a pinch. Nice seed selection.

  3. They don't have everything I need. Far from it. They seem to support one specialized system rather than universal parts like I can wait and get online. But in a pinch I've spent 120 on a new item I could get for 35 online, and that's quieter. All I wanted was a missing connection part worth maybe a dollar. I get that they can't stay in business if they devote shop space to lots of stock, I'm just saying there's a tradeoff.

  4. I can understand that. I know their products are a bit more pricer than stuff on Amazon but the people there are great and have helped me a lot with any issues I’ve had in my garden or otherwise. The trade off is that they are expensive and they may not have everything but they do have what you need for the most part. I’m not sure what method you grow in but they’re super great and helpful people none the less, which is why I always go back to them. Rather support them than the bald asshole who runs Amazon.

  5. Most commercial grows experience some form of contamination with either bugs or pathogens. Usually when that happens the cultivators harvest the buds and wash it to make concentrates from so that most of those contaminates are killed off the bud and then made into distillate. Do I think this is morally right to be serving products that were once contaminated? Absolutely not. But, this is how the market of legalized cannabis is, especially for recreational cannabis. I know this speaking from current experience in the industry and it’s very sad to see from the cultivators perspective. It’s not about the quality of the product, it’s about the quantity.

  6. This happens with literally every industry. Shit happens. Meat industry, tobacco industry, even the fuckin babywipe/baby formula industry.

  7. Don’t water it that often. Just make sure the environment has a humidity of no more than 75%. Seedlings like warm and humid environments. Add a humidifier with a probe that can detect humidity levels and adjust to your preferences.

  8. I was told it makes them more resinous when you dry out the soil completely and let the plant struggle for water for a few days before chopping, will probably just cut down tonight or tomorrow and see how it comes out. Just wanted to hear others experiences

  9. That’s just grow science man.. and in reality if you have good soil and are using organic fertilizer then you don’t need to flush, because you’re just depriving your plant of nutrients during a critical time. I would agree with the previous comment, the soil moisture doesn’t matter once you’re close to harvest because once you chop it and hang, all the moisture will come off the plant during drying time.

  10. But that doesnt really mean that its bad just because its made synthetically, im no fan of these gas sation d8 or d9 thc buds but to say its synthetic garbage idk you would be surprised how many things are synthetically produced and not harmful or bad at all

  11. I can definitely tell you that weed was either contaminated with bugs or mold. You can tell by the color and I can definitely see white mold in your pic. Which means a cultivator likely washed the weed to make concentrates and sprayed fake terps to make it smell decent. Not good stuff and definitely no one should be smoking that.

  12. Your weed has mold brotha. It’s a white mold that appears to be trichrome dust, but it’s a mold.

  13. God bless you for offering, keep playing.

  14. EcoGro has a bunch of seeds. I also have a ton if you want to message me, I might be able to hook you up. Clones are a little harder to find in Tucson

  15. Thank you for chipping in everyone. If anyone has any recommendations, suggestions, techniques used to get rid of aphids please let me know. I’ve been dealing with it for quite sometime and I’ve been able to manage it with Dr Zymes and lady bugs so far

  16. Micronized sulfur works the best imo and it’s cheap. Knocks them down instantly.

  17. Would it be okay as a spray during flower or is it meant for watering the soil

  18. I’ve worked there. The family treats staff like shit. You can hear the owner verbally abusing the employees - look on yelp if you don’t believe me. Oh, the owner also changes employees clock in sheets, stealing hours from staff. We’re only taught to upsell, food quality is eh, management is terrible at scheduling so service is not great all the time.

  19. What brand soil and are you adding fertilizer to your water? Also, what PH is your water?

  20. Fox farm happy frog and using sim pro cal mag 10-0-0 and a transition formula 6-11-9. Ph is at 6.30 with 1.6-1.8 EC

  21. 6.3 might be a little low for soil so you likely have a deficiency starting due to PH issues. Soil PH will fluctuate so adding nutes too frequently will cause problems. Hard to recommend a solution from here so I hope you get your PH dialed in and everything it works out. I use Tupur coco mix now and it’s a lot more consistent than my previous soil grows.

  22. I’m in my first week of flower - entering my second. What should I be aiming for? In veg it’s always been 6.30 and worked good. But now since I’m in flower do I need to bump it up?

  23. Ima be kindly honest with you, all with knowledge based on my own experience.

  24. Check out “house of green” on Instagram. He’s in Phoenix and can ship. Lots of breeder cuts. No hops or pests. But they ain’t cheap! Lol jk they’re not to expensive but he can mail too. Fantastic genetics, more so for experienced growers I’d say, not worth dropping the money if it’s your first run or something.

  25. Yeah it started to like 4ish days ago

  26. They’re only gonna get bigger bro - I’d suggest either taking them outside or getting a bigger tent cause they’ll stretch two times of what their height is now

  27. The hot plate is the best way, outside and have a fan from a distance blow the fumes away. I had success decarbing in a mason jar in my air fryer. Fortunately it didn’t stink it up lol I make my kids chicken tendies in there haha

  28. That sounds better - I tried to do it in a crock pot in my garage with the doors open but at 2 in the morning I just ditched the idea and moved the operation inside lmao. I’ll definitely try a different way next time around, I’ve been taking notes on how the process went

  29. Nice! About to do my first run. You happy with your rice cooker? What brand did you get?

  30. Honestly the rice cooker was a pain in the ass so I switched over to a crock pot and it was kind of doing the job but it took way longer than I would’ve liked it too. I would recommended getting an electric stove top (like a portable one) and cook it on there until the water is basically boiling. It was about 3am when I finished up last night and I just switched over to my stove top (it was a gas stove top, wouldn’t recommend because everclear is flammable… still did it anyways 🤣)

  31. Week 9 in flower? You need a better light, something’s off..

  32. Nice, this is the right time of year to plant for outdoor grows. About 6 weeks left is my estimate on the planting season.

  33. Definitely cause July-august are tremendously hot for AZ. Kind of sucks but it gives a good downtime until September for get tent upgrades and that all fun expensive stuff haha

  34. August for my outdoors is flower time, my girls love July - I’m a trim monster June - early August until they flip… then prep for the harvest in late September early October…

  35. That’s awesome bro - I’ve only grown outdoors once and it was really fun, and the taste of the buds were so much different compared to my tent. Hopefully next season I’ll try an our door grow with a couple of plants to see how it goes. My tent gets wayyyyyy too hot during the summer so it’s not worth it for me to grow. Just recently I insulated my garage and it’s been cooler in here than it ever has in the past.

  36. There's probably a few things that could extend the flowering times but generally speaking I have found heavy sativa leaning or pure sativa's like the shorter day lengths in order to really get going indoors.

  37. So crazy - never knew sativas could go down to a 10/14 light cycle! Definitely will follow this advice. Hoping for the flower to be done by week 11 or 13 🤞🏼

  38. Looks better than a lot of the stuff you see at the dispo - and it probably smokes better!

  39. Yeah that could work too, as long as the N is bigger than the P/K but you’re probably gonna have to fertilize the soil often. I would say at least once a week or maybe once every 2 weeks

  40. Yeah your plants can’t survive without nitrogen so you should amend it with nitrogen fertilizer. If it were me I’d use organic feather meal to get that nitrogen level going

  41. Did you pop these all at the same time?

  42. Yes sirrr, I had some issues with the seedling pots I had but they’ve been able to bounce back
