1. You could be right there. I only figured it was a bullock because it was in a field with 2 other young bullocks.

  2. So I'd have my phone mounted on my dashboard using one of those magnet jobs and then when I revieved a message or whatever, my Blcar reads it out and when I want to respond, I just press the mic icon in the WhatsApp thread.

  3. I find voice notes much handier when you're walking or driving. I certainly don't appreciate any that go beyond more than a few sentences though. Just don't be a melt and drone on for half an hour. If it's that important, ring me.

  5. Running the electricity off the gas and the gas off the electricity for free energy

  6. Well, it'll save you about 200 pounds a year, but then a few weeks later, ah god, I'll never forget it now, we got a new boiler...

  7. "I hope I've helped with your little project."

  8. A site has been bought in limerick near beside the m7 for this very purpose. id love to see more of them but we would need efficent bus services and it would need to be free for me to just park the car and end up adding to an already long commute. I'm not going to stand around 15 min waiting for a but when i could have just driven the car an extra 10 min and been in work.

  9. That's fair enough. I have a long commute too (>1hr each way) and would definitely not relish the thought of leaving my warm car to stand in the cold/rain and then sit on a bus for 20 mins, only to be dropped a 10 mins walk from my office. That said, if it meant it would lighten traffic and I could guarantee I'd be in work at a specific time, give or take 5 mins, I'd definitely consider it. Particularly on days the weather is halfway decent and you don't mind being out and about.

  10. Kids slept in until 6.30, instead of the usual 5am. AND let me doze on the couch while they watched cartoons. Great success.

  11. Got to 7:15am, followed by sleepy cuddles on the couch. We've just demolished pancakes and now I'm sitting down by myself in the kitchen with a coffee and a crossword. This might be my highlight of 2024.

  12. "I've waited all my life for this."

  13. Such is life im afraid. Especially when the kiddos are small, as their schedule tends to dictate everything. What's worked for me in the past is to give myself a few things to look forward to throughout the day. Could be an indulgent coffee before work, a big cookie or piece of cake at some stage, an old favourite book/audio book for the commute, putting an hour aside at night for gaming or watching a new/old favourite series. Just something for you. Something you can look forward to. Sprinkle a few of these things throughout your day if you can and you'll feel less like a machine that's out there doing things for everyone else. Honestly, a little piece of joy goes a long way when you're feeling the grind.

  22. I remember these vivdly too so you're not gone daft. They were sour cream and onion light if I remember correctly. I ate a full tube of them sitting in the back of the car and puked everywhere. I still get nauseous thinking about them.

  23. A power bottom's generating all the power by doing most of the work.
