Just finished this show last week. The Sopranos before that. Then better call Saul. The wire overtook bcs as my favorite show and now I feel like all tv is downhill from here lol and I don’t know what else to start/ get into. The wire’s writing is just on another level.

The Outsider was excellent. Also, have you seen the new (2017) season of Twin Peaks? Just on the off chance you missed it, it is absolutely incredible.

Yeah, but prior to that, the writers had the perfect set up and they could've written kim to be the 2nd ex-wife but I guess they pandered to the fans like how jesse was supposed to die in season 1 in breaking bad but vince couldn't go through with it.
Kim screwing Jimmys dad and Jesse dying during the first season sound like two awful changes to what has happened and I would hardly call the choices that they’ve made “pandering.”
I think I'm too dumb to understand the Kim Wexler character. I try my best but I just cannot get a read on who she really is / her nature. In BB it was obvious WW was a narcissistic psycho from season 2 on but I don't get how Kim is a monster now when to me she was always a moral (albeit damaged) person. She's now so vindictive and evil I don't get it. And I know it's probably my fault for not understanding lol smh ): halp
Completely unrelated but I just realized the body double's dental records found on the crime scene matched up because Lalo paid for the guy's dental care specifically for a situation where he could fake his death and use him. Wasn't just a random detail

Yeah that is what I was doing. I believe cage to be one of the greatest actors of our time. He just isn’t given the material to work with. 1-2 movies are actually worth his time. The other 10-15 are just for him to pay the bills.
My bad! I thought you meant only one or two in general. I don’t disagree that the majority are…. Crap. But he does at least make them interesting. But when he’s on the top of his game in a good production, I agree that he’s one of the best out there. He’s my personal favorite.
The problem with cage is that only 1 or 2 movies are good. With actual good writing. Try as you might even the best actor can’t save awful writing. And he’s gotta eat so might as well make that money

I think she’s the toughest character to read in the show, for sure. She’s wildly unpredictable I think. Don’t be hard on yourself!
